FULL-TIME: BAYER LEVERKUSEN 1-1 UNION SAINT-GILLOISE.
90' +3
A. Moris gets yellow.
Bakker's speculative shot from distance rolls wide for a goal kick, and Moris is booked after taking 'just a little' too long to take the resultant goal kick!
90' +1
Hincapie's clearance quickly becomes an aerial throughball for Azmoun, but Kandouss shields it well and is able to clear for the visitors.
90'
We'll play four additional minutes at the BayArena, which from what we've seen so far, could be more than enough for either side to find a winner here!
89'

Boniface has embodied everything good about Saint-Gilloise in this game and slotted home a superb opening goal, but the Nigerian is replaced late on by Swedish striker Gustaf Nilsson.

82'
F. Wirtz has scored a goal for Bayer Leverkusen! Assist by S. Azmoun.
GOOOOOAAAALLL!!!! What a way to equalise!!! It's a really well-worked goal from Leverkusen, and you have to say that it's been coming. Hincapie's forward pass to Azmoun sees the Iranian twist and turn away from two defenders, before laying the ball off to Wirtz. First-time, he curls a low, right-footed effort through the crowd, and the ball sneaks past a stretching Moris to nestle in the bottom corner! 1-1, and with less than 10 minutes to go, this first leg is blown wide open once again!
The close control and awareness from Azmoun there was sensational, seemingly knowing exactly where Wirtz was to see up the 19-year-old. And that's not taking anything away from the finish either - simply breathtaking.
80'
O. El Azzouzi enters the game and replaces S. Lynen.
Lynen is next off for the visitors, with Oussama El Azzouzi coming into the midfield for the last 10 minutes of this game.
Boniface takes on Hincapie and rolls the ball behind and then past the Leverkusen defender, before racing down the byline. Tapsoba is back in cover though, and puts the USG goalscorer's attempted cross behind for a corner.
Minute
Description
77'
A one-two in the box between Nieuwkoop and Boniface almost comes off, but a deflection sends the ball back into the waiting gloves of Hradecky.
76'
P. Hincapié gets yellow.
Lazare is just getting to his feet after a foul by Hincapie, but is then brushed in the face by the Ecuadorian and hits the deck once more! There's barely a sniff of contact, but just the intent of that is enough for the referee to show Hincapie a yellow card.
75'
Cameron Puertas enters the game and replaces Y. Vertessen.
Saint-Gilloise make their first change of the game, as Vertessen is replaced by Cameron Puertas.
73'
Frimpong looks to whip a cross into the box from the far touchline, but the ball takes a deflection off the back of Van der Leyden and goes behind for a corner.
71'
Union can't clear the ball beyond their own defensive third, and it bounces kindly for Wirtz to flick into the box. Frimpong chases, but Moris is well out of his net to claim the ball before the Leverkusen wing-back can bring it down.
67'
S. Azmoun enters the game and replaces A. Adli.
Leverkusen make their second change of the match, as the lively Adli is replaced by Sardar Azmoun, who will no doubt provide more of an outlet through the middle of their attack.
61'
Forward come Leverkusen, and Demirbay is found in space. He tries his luck from a good 30 yards, but his effort is high and wide of the intended target!
59'
Lazare's interception sparks another fast break from the visitors, but Vertessen's pass through for Boniface is underhit and Tapsoba can clean up for Leverkusen.
58'
Demirbay's well-weighted throughball sends Bakker surging into the box behind Nieuwkoop, but the Saint-Gilloise right-back recovers to block his square pass behind for another Leverkusen corner.
53'
Bakker plays a one-two with Wirtz on the edge of the Union box, and volleys the return ball goalwards, only for Nieuwkoop to get in the way and block the ball out for a corner!
51'
V. Boniface has scored a goal for Union Saint-Gilloise! Assist by T. Teuma.
GOOOOOOAAAAALLLL!!!!!! Superb from Saint-Gilloise, and their main man opens the scoring!! The visitors break from Leverkusen's free-kick, but Hradecky races a mile out of his box to clear the ball. Union recycle possession quickly though, and Teuma finds Boniface in acres of space. He drives into the box and stands up Tapsoba, before firing a low shot right into the bottom corner! No chance there for Hradecky, and the Nigerian gives his side a 1-0 lead!
Boniface was in space and screaming for the ball from the moment Hradecky cleared it, and once Teuma eventually found him, the Saint-Gilloise striker made no mistake.
49'
Tapsoba's pristine timing sees him cut out a Boniface pass that would've put Vertessen clean through on goal, and sprays a ball forward for Diaby to run onto. He's subsequently shoved to the ground by Nieuwkoop, and Demirbay's presence in this second half makes any Leverkusen set-piece all the more threatening.
46'
K. Demirbay enters the game and replaces E. Palacios.
Leverkusen make one half-time change, as Kerem Demirbay comes on for Palacios at the base of their midfield.
Wirtz kicks off the second half, and we're back up and running at the BayArena.

45'
We'll play two additional minutes to close out this thoroughly entertaining first half.
44'
Lapoussin's ball inside to Teuma is cut out by Tah, who is soon set upon and fouled by Boniface deep in Leverkusen territory.

37'
Frimpong's flick over the top strikes the hand of Lapoussin, winning Leverkusen another free-kick in a very promising position to cross from.
36'
The two number eights come together in midfield, as Andrich holds Lazare back to prevent him releasing a pass, and concedes a free-kick in the process.
32'
Lapoussin's foul on Diaby gives Leverkusen a free-kick in good crossing position, but successive flicked headers from Burgess and Nieuwkoop send the ball away and behind for a corner.
25'
S. Van der Heyden gets yellow.
A positive Union SG move is cut out by Tah, who finds Adli down the right channel. He attempts to flick the bouncing ball over the head of Van der Heyden, but is caught very late by the defender, who picks up the first yellow card of the tie.
23'
A loose Palacios touch almost gifts possession to Vertessen on the edge of the hosts' box, but the ball skews away from danger and Frimpong comes away with it.
21'
Some good play down the right from the visitors gives Lynen time and space to pick a pass, but his final ball for Lazare is massively overhit and Hincapie watches the ball roll behind for a goal kick.
19'
Adli is eventually cleared to continue playing, and we're back underway at BayArena.
17'
A heavy challenge on Adli sees the Leverkusen winger sandwiched between Lynen and Kandouss, and the Frenchman has stayed down to receive treatment, bringing a brief stop to the game.
15'
Another Leverkusen break threatens to leave Union exposed at the back as the red shirts flood forward, but Adli's inside pass to an arriving Andrich is hacked away by Van der Heyden.
13'
A header from Tah and flick from Wirtz appear to have aptly cleared the visitors' corner, but Lazare scoops the ball goalwards from miles out, and the ball bounces off the top of the bar before going over!
12'
Boniface engages both Frimpong and Tapsoba as he drives into the left-hand side of the box, and wins a corner after drilling a cross behind via the former's block.
10'
Andrich chips a ball over the top of Union's defence, but Diaby hasn't anticipated the pass and Moris can collect under no pressure at all.
7'
The free-kick is headed half-clear and ricochets to Kandouss, who snatches at a shot which Palacios blocks clear!
6'
Boniface turns away from Tapsoba but is soon barged over by Andrich, giving Union a crossing opportunity into the box from this free-kick.
2'
Wirtz strides forward and attempts to release Frimpong down the right, but Van der Leyden is back in cover to intercept the pass for the visitors.
1'
Union SG captain Teuma kicks the game off, and we're underway in this Europa League quarter-final!
Hello, and welcome to live coverage of this fixture in the UEFA Europa League, as Bayer Leverkusen do battle with Union Saint-Gilloise in the first leg of their quarter-final tie.

Leverkusen stormed into the last eight with a 4-0 aggregate victory over Hungarian champions Ferencvaros in the round of 16, winning 2-0 in each of the two legs and scoring in the first and last 10 minutes of both games.

Bayer Leverkusen head to Brussels in just seven short days, but do have the bonus of away goals no longer counting in European competition. Saint-Gilloise will also be confident of progressing to the last four, having already followed up an away draw to German opposition with a second-leg home victory in the round of 16.
That's all from us, as all eyes turn to the second leg. We'll be back to give you all the details, but until then, goodbye!
