FULL TIME: AUSTRALIA 1 ECUADOR 2 - A thrilling contest comes to an end at Marvel Stadium! Ecuador came out firing early in the second half and it only took six minutes before they draw level when Pervis Estupiñán converted his spot kick after Rodríguez was brought down in the penalty area. The visitors kept pressing and they were able to convert their dominance into a lead on the scoreboard when William Pacho nodded home from a corner. The Socceroos threw everything at the Ecuador defence in the dying minutes but ultimately were unable to find an equaliser. So, in the end, the two sides cannot be separated after a highly entertaining two match series.
