Hello and welcome to this live commentary for the Premier League match between West Ham and Nottingham Forest from the London Stadium.
West Ham come into this fixture in desperate need of a result. David Moyes' side have won just once in six league games this year and sit in 18th place - one point off safety. Two good draws against Newcastle and Chelsea were followed by a disappointing 2-0 derby defeat to Tottenham and a result here today is a must or the pressure will intensify further on the West Ham boss.
NOTTINGHAM FOREST SUBS: Jesse Lingard, Harry Toffolo, Orel Mangala, Gustavo Scarpa, Sam Surridge, Wayne Hennessey, Emmanuel Dennis, Andre Ayew, Danilo.
NOTTINGHAM FOREST (4-3-2-1): Keylor Navas; Neco Williams, Joe Worrall, Felipe, Renan Lodi; Remo Freuler, Jonjo Shelvey, Jack Colback; Morgan Gibbs-White, Brennan Johnson; Chris Wood.
WEST HAM SUBS: Gianluca Scamacca, Thilo Kehrer, Pablo Fornals, Flynn Downes, Aaron Cresswell, Michail Antonio, Alphonse Areola, Manuel Lanzini, Emerson.
WEST HAM (4-2-3-1): Lukasz Fabianski; Vladimir Coufal, Angelo Ogbonna, Nayef Aguerd, Ben Johnson; Tomas Soucek, Declan Rice; Said Benrahma, Lucas Paqueta, Jarrod Bowen; Danny Ings.
Meanwhile, Forest has enjoyed a resurgent start to the year and have only lost once with their form seeing them rise to 13th place. Early-season faith in Steve Cooper seems to have paid off and despite defeat to Fulham a fortnight ago, Cooper's side earned a hard-fought 1-1 draw against reigning champions Manchester City last weekend.
Cooper makes two changes two his Forest side that drew 1-1 with Man City. Serge Aurier is injured so WIlliams comes in to replace him at right-back, while Danilo makes way with Wood brought in to lead the line.
This is the first time West Ham are hosting Nottingham Forest in a league game since January 2012 (2-1 in the Championship) and the first time in a Premier League game since February 1999 (2-1 win). They've lost just one of their last 10 home league games against Forest (W7 D2).
This game is a must-win for West Ham and Moyes will not want to let it go to waste. His side had nine shots that half but just one went on target and that must improve in the second half if they are to get a much-needed win. Cooper will be pleased with how his Forest side defended for large periods of the first half. Their task now will be to provide Wood with greater service and support and see if they can grow into the game and get a winner in the second half.
With that win, West Ham move out of the relegation zone and up to 16th place. Forest stay in 13th and are now winless in their last three. David Moyes' side travel to face Manchester United in the FA Cup on Wednesday, while Forest host Everton in the Premier League next Sunday.
