Toulouse get this match underway.
Toulouse will undoubtedly be pleased with how the first half panned out and can have few complaints about the nature of PSG's equaliser. They have only had two shots to PSG's 12 but have looked promising when able to get forward and will look to continue their resolute defending in the second half. An early injury to Sanches prompted a re-shuffle in the PSG line-up but they responded well after going a goal down. The task for Galtier and his side will be to continue that and find a winner in this second half against a tricky Toulouse side.
Paris have won their last five Ligue 1 games against Toulouse without conceding a single goal and could win six on the bounce against a specific opponent without conceding for the first time in the top flight.
Hello and welcome to this live commentary for the Ligue 1 game between Paris Saint-Germain and Toulouse from the Parc des Princes.
PSG head into this encounter in mixed form with the league leaders having only won two of their five Ligue 1 games in 2023, falling to defeats against Rennes and Lens. Christophe Galtier's side won their most recent match 3-1 against Montpellier and still hold a five-point lead at the top of the table but will be looking for another convincing performance to maintain their advantage on the chasing pack.
Toulouse meanwhile come into this fixture on a fine run of form, unbeaten in all competitions in 2023 and drawing only once - 1-1 against Brest. Their most recent win, a 4-1 thumping of Troyes, has Philippe Montanier's side up to twelfth in the league and they may well fancy their chances of pulling off a mighty upset away at the reigning champions.
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN (4-1-2-1-2): Gianluigi Donnarumma; Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Danilo Pereira, Nuno Mendes; Renato Sanches; Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz; Carlos Soler; Lionel Messi, Hugo Ekitike.

That is all for today - thanks for tuning in!
That is a much-needed victory for PSG, who had only won two of their five Ligue 1 games in 2023 prior to this match. They extend their lead at the top of the table to eight points. Defeat ends Toulouse's impressive run in 2023 so far but they remain 12th. Next up for both sides is Coupe de France action with PSG away against Marseille and Toulouse home to Reims.
