Sarmiento whips in a corner for Ecuador, but a strong defensive header from Van Dijk sends the ball away, and De Jong wins his side possession in the corner.
90' +3
Sarmiento flicks the ball across the box to Preciado, whose weak header towards goal is easily collected by Noppert.
90' +1
We'll play at least six minutes of added time, and that should be plenty for either side to find a winner here!
90'
K. Rodríguez enters the game and replaces E. Valencia.
Romario Ibarra enters the game and replaces G. Plata.
Valencia is taken off via stretcher, with Kevin Rodriguez sent on to replace the Ecuador talisman.
Plata is also taken off, with the forward line changing once more with the introduction of Romario Ibarra.
89'
Valencia is still down, showing no signs of recovering, and he's taken off on a stretcher. He'll play no further part in this game, and by the looks of it will struggle to make their next clash against Senegal either.
87'
Valencia is down inside the centre circle, clutching his knee, and every Ecuadorian fan is holding their breath for their captain as play eventually comes to a stop for him to be treated.
85'
Ake drives towards the Ecuador box and is 40 yards from goal before being shunted to the floor by Caicedo, who is lucky to avoid a yellow card as the Dutch win a free-kick.
81'
An Ecuadorian corner is swung into the box, but is headed away, and a snap-shot from Preciado on the volley flies over the bar!
80'
W. Weghorst enters the game and replaces C. Gakpo.

Koopmeiners also comes off, and is replaced in the middle of the park by his Atalanta teammate Marten de Roon.
More changes coming for the Dutch, as the goalscorer Gakpo is replaced by Besiktas' on-loan Burnley forward Wout Weghorst.
78'
Torres' long ball finds Valencia in the box, but a brilliant defensive header from Ake wins possession back for the Netherlands through Blind.
74'
J. Sarmiento enters the game and replaces M. Estrada.
Estrada comes off in Ecuador's first alteration, and another Brighton player, Jeremy Sarmiento, replaces him in the forward line.
71'
Estupinan sets off on the counter for Ecuador, but he's barrelled over by Gakpo as he progresses and wins a free-kick.
69'
S. Berghuis enters the game and replaces D. Klaassen.
The Oranje make their second change, with Klaassen withdrawn for Steven Berghuis.

62'
Estupinan crosses on the volley and fires the ball back to the edge of the box. Blind's hooked clearance ricochets off Preciado, and almost bounces goalwards!
57'
J. Méndez gets yellow.
Gakpo and Hincapie do battle again, as the goalscorer peels away from the Ecuador defender and bursts over halfway. He follows Gakpo into his own half and brings him down from behind, conceding a free-kick in the Netherlands' favour.
Mendez arrives late and catch Depay as he releases the ball, with the unnecessary challenge resulting in a yellow card for the Ecuador midfielder.
55'
Gakpo takes in a throw and looks to beat Hincapie, but his attempted ball across the face ricochets back to him, before going out for a goal kick.
53'
The Dutch were given a let-off by the offside flag to deny Estupinan in the first half, but they completely switched off to give him all the time in the world, and his shot was parried right into the path of Valencia!
49'
E. Valencia has scored a goal for Ecuador!
GOOOOAAAALLLL!!!! And this time it WILL count!!! Estupinan is found in open space down the left and drills a low shot from the edge of the box. He gets down well and parries it, but Valencia is on hand to stab the ball into back of the net to make it 1-1! They were denied by the flag right at the end of the first half, but Ake plays Valencia onside here, meaning they do get their just reward right at the start of the second!
48'
Ecuador's early free-kick is crossed into the box, but is cleared. Caicedo recovers the loose ball and floats it back into the danger area, but Noppert climbs above the rest to catch it with ease.
46'
M. Depay enters the game and replaces S. Bergwijn.
The Netherlands make one half-time change, with Bergwijn replaced by Memphis Depay up front for the Oranje.
Depay's first touch is to kick the second half off, and we're back underway in this Group A game!
45' +4
HALF-TIME: NETHERLANDS 1-0 ECUADOR.
45' +2
There's a coming together between Timber and Estrada on the left flank, and despite the Ecuador forward arriving late, Timber's reaction sees him concede the free-kick!
45'
We'll play three added minutes of injury time to close out the first half, and compared to some of the period of time added on during this World Cup, it shoud fly by!
44'
Blind arcs a cross into the box from the touchline, and with Bergwijn chasing, Galindez races out of his goal to claim the ball with Hincapie in cover.
42'
Porozo threads a ball over the top for Caicedo to chase, but Noppert smothers it on the edge of the six-yard box before the Brighton midfielder can get there.
38'
Caicedo goes down under pressure from De Jong, but is penalised himself for handling the ball on the floor. Klaassen's involved too, but the referee is eventually able to calm the two midfielders as play continues.
36'
Estupinan floats a good cross into the box with players waiting, but the gigantic six feet eight frame of Noppert is out to pluck the ball out of the sky.
30'
Blind's cross from the left is deflected as it floats into the box, and Hincapie is forced to hack it behind for a corner!
26'
Timber slides in recklessly to prevent Estrada from receiving the ball and does so, but gets all of the man and none of the ball, conceding a free-kick in the process.
21'
Dumfries does well to steal the ball from Caicedo and races in-field. He's pulled back by Estupinan and Torres kicks the loose ball into his chest, but the Dutch wing-back isn't awarded a free-kick!
19'
Dumfries sizes up a long throw-in as his teammates and Ecuador defenders pack the box, but his attempt to find Gakpo is thwarted as Torres clears.
15'
Koopmeiners squares a low pass into the box for Gakpo, but a good touch from Hincapie restricts him from controlling the ball and Ecuador are able to clear.
10'
Ecuador attempt to keep possession for a spell and slowly move it forward, before Valencia is shoved over by Timber to win his side a free-kick.
6'
C. Gakpo has scored a goal for Netherlands! Assist by D. Klaassen.
The work from Klaassen there was excellent to get to the ball and feed Gakpo, and the PSV forward did the rest emphatically!
GOOOOOAAAALLL!!!! What an early strike that is!!! Klaassen does well to rein in a deflected pass, before feeding Gakpo. He takes one step to the left before shooting with his left foot, and rifling the ball straight into the top corner! That's his second of the tournament, and what a way to get it as he puts the Oranje 1-0 up!
4'
Ecuador wing-back Preciado has gone down, holding his groin. We're still early in the game, so hopefully we will be okay to carry on.
1'
Estrada kicks the game off for Ecuador, and we're underway in Al Rayyan!
Hello, and welcome to live coverage of this FIFA World Cup fixture, as the Netherlands take on Ecuador in Group A.
The two unbeaten sides in Group A face off, with both the Dutch and the Ecuadorians winning their opening games against Senegal and Qatar respectively, each doing so by a margin of two goals to nil.
NETHERLANDS (3-4-1-2): Andries Noppert; Jurrien Timber, Virgil van Dijk, Nathan Ake; Denzel Dumfries, Teun Koopmeiners, Frenkie de Jong, Daley Blind; Davy Klaassen; Cody Gakpo, Steven Bergwijn.
ECUADOR SUBS: Moises Ramirez, Alexander Dominguez, Robert Arboleda, Jose Cifuentes, William Pacho, Carlos Gruezo, Ayrton Preciado, Romario Ibarra, Xavier Arreaga, Angel Mena, Jeremy Sarmiento, Diego Palacios, Alan Franco, Djorkaeff Reasco, Kevin Rodriguez.
ECUADOR (5-4-1): Hernan Galindez; Angelo Preciado, Jackson Porozo, Felix Torres, Piero Hincapie, Pervis Estupinan; Gonzalo Plata, Jhegson Mendez, Moises Caicedo, Enner Valencia; Michael Estrada.
NETHERLANDS SUBS: Remko Pasveer, Justin Bijlow, Matthijs de Ligt, Stefan de Vrij, Luuk de Jong, Memphis Depay, Steven Berghuis, Noa Lang, Marten de Roon, Tyrell Malacia, Vincent Janssen, Wout Weghorst, Kenneth Taylor, Xavi Simons, Jeremie Frimpong.
In the tournament’s opening match, Ecuador wasted no time in crashing Qatar’s party, having a goal chalked off after just three minutes for offside before scoring twice more in the first half through Enner Valencia. The Oranje were comparatively poor against Senegal for most of the game, but respective 84th and 99th minute strikes from Cody Gakpo and Davy Klaassen secured the victory late on.
The teams make their way out onto the pitch, and we'll be ready and raring to go straight after the national anthems!
It ends as a draw, and you'd be hard pressed to say that Ecuador are the side who'll be more disappointed by that result! They were denied an equaliser late in the first half, but didn't have to wait long for it once the second kicked off, as Enner Valencia prodded Estupinan's parried shot into the net after just four minutes. Ecuador didn't die wondering though, with Valencia having another shot blocked and Plata rattling the bar, as the Netherlands, who were certainly flat for much of the half, lucky to escape with a point.
The two sides were already equal in the group, having each won 2-0 in their opening games, meaning they'll stay at level pegging going into the final matchday. However, their draw does eliminate hosts Qatar, who cannot overtake the four points these two sides now have. Qatar did score their first ever World Cup goal in their 3-1 loss to Senegal earlier, but this result means their campaign is all but over.
That's all from us, we hope you enjoyed the game. Until the next World Cup fixture, goodbye!
The two sides return for the second half, and after being denied late on in the first, can Ecuador find an equaliser here?
