Turkey’s last fixture back in September was a 2-1 defeat away to the Faroe Islands. The game ended a five-game unbeaten run in the UEFA Nations League, which saw them promoted to League B. Turkey failed to qualify for the World Cup after losing to Portugal in the playoff semi-finals.
Scotland are on fine form as they are unbeaten in their last four games and have won four of their last six. Their most recent fixture was against Ukraine in the Nations League where a goalless draw secured Steve Clarke’s side promotion to League A. Scotland also lost in the playoff semi-finals in attempt to qualify for the World Cup.

Calhanoglu is providing a lot of problems for Scotland. He is drifting across the pitch and picking out good passes to drag defenders out of position and push the Scotland backline toward their own goal. Clarke may want someone to man mark the creative midfielder in the second half.

Scotland's unbeaten run comes to an end after a disappointing performance in Turkey, who have now won five of their last seven. They will play against the Czech Republic in another friendly on the 19th of November while Scotland will not play until the new year.
