Cunha is cautioned for something that he said to the referee after a decision went against his side.
90' +3
SAVE! Cunha really has impressed in this second half. He has a go from a long way out and the shot takes an awkward deflection off Piatek on its way through to Gulacsi, who does well to get two hands to it.
90' +1
We are into the first of four added minutes at the end of another entertaining game in the Bundesliga. Hertha appear to be content to settle for a point.
89'
Lookman refuses to give up on a stray ball and that proves a good decision. He holds off his opponent and cuts it back for Angelino, who skies the attempted cross straight behind for a goal-kick.
88'
Cunha, who has had a big impact in the second half, shoots wide from range. We are into the final two minutes of normal time.
87'
The visitors work the ball across the field. A cross comes in from the right and Piatek casually controls - a little too casual as he is unable to work the shot.
86'
All of a sudden, it is Hertha who are asking all of the questions as they seek what would be a dramatic winner. It has been a topsy-turvy match and there is still around 10 minutes to play.
84'
Lookman has offered Leipzig something a little difference in an attacking sense since being introduced from the bench, but his error in conceding that penalty may well cost the hosts a couple of points.
82'
Penalty goal scored by K. Piątek for Hertha Berlin!
GOOOAAAAALLLL!!!! LEIPZIG 2-2 HERTHA!!! Piatek sends Gulacsi the wrong way by tucking the penalty towards the bottom-left corner. From pretty much out of nowhere, Hertha have equalised to surely snatch a point.
Minute
Description
80'
A cross from the left proves an awkward one for Gulacsi to deal with. The Leipzig keeper is happy to tip the ball over the crossbar for a corner, which comes to nothing.
79'
H. Wolf enters the game and replaces T. Werner.
W. Orbán enters the game and replaces P. Schick.
Schick is going to be the match-winner as things stand. He can be happy with his involvement as he exits the field, with Orban coming on.
Werner, who has not really got going today, is subbed off with 11 minutes to go. Wolf comes on in his place.
78'
J. Ngankam enters the game and replaces V. Ibišević.
A. Maier enters the game and replaces P. Skjelbred.
Ibisevic's goalscoring run comes to an end as he makes way for Maier.
The subs are coming thick and fast now as Skjelbred makes way for Ngankam.
76'
Cunha's jinking run aside, Hertha have not offered a great deal since falling behind for the first time today. Labbadia appears to be readying another change or two.
75'
Leipzig have actually looked a lot better since going down to 10 men. Werner exchanges passes with Lookman, who has impressed since coming on, but the hosts are forced to play it all the way back.
73'
Cunha shows some beautiful feet and is very nearly through on goal, only for Angelino to put his body on the line. The Leipzig substitute clatters into his opponent, but only after winning the ball.
71'
K. Piątek enters the game and replaces V. Darida.
J. Dilrosun enters the game and replaces D. Lukébakio.
Dilrosun is also on for Lukebakio as the visitors make a double change.
Labbadia introduces big-money signing Piatek from the bench in place of Darida.
70'
That really was a shocker from Jarstein. Hertha looked good value for a point, even more so following Halstenberg's red card, but they now have 20 minutes to find an equalier.
68'
P. Schick has scored a goal for RB Leipzig! Assist by K. Laimer.
That will surely go down as an own goal, but for now Schick is credited with it and the assist goes to Laimer for making the final pass.
GOOOOOAAAAAALLLLL!!!! LEIPZIG 2-1 HERTHA!!!! It's a horror moment for Jarstein! Schick fires a shot away from outside the box that looks a simple one to deal with. The Hertha keeper gets down and initially makes the save, only to then parry the ball into his own net when seemingly attempting to bring it under control.
66'
Angeliño enters the game and replaces C. Nkunku.
Angelino has been brought on for Nkunku as the visitors reshuffle slightly following the sending off.
64'
Leipzig have been below par today and their task has just been made a whole lot more difficult following that red card for Halstenberg.
63'
M. Halstenberg gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
LEIPZIG DOWN TO 10 MEN! Halstenberg slides in on Cunha, fails to get the ball and is shown a second yellow card by referee Bastian Dankert.
62'
Mittelstadt, brought on for Plattenhardt in the first half, appears to pull up but will play on for the time being. Leipzig are really struggling to break down their stubborn opponents.
60'
Nagelsmann clearly wants some added pace out wide, then, given the introduction of Lookman. The substitute winger does well to get away from his man with a fine first touch, but he ponders too long and is dispossessed.
58'
A. Lookman enters the game and replaces Dani Olmo.
Olmo is off and Lookman on in his place as Nagelsmann makes the first of his changes.
57'
J. Torunarigha gets yellow.
Torunarigha catches Nkunku on the chest with his boot when attempting to halt the pacy midfielder's burst forward. The referee is quick to reach into his pocket.
55'
Schick attempts an audacious overhead kick after chesting down the ball. Boyata puts him under some pressure, though, and the Leipzig attacker fails to make any real contact.
54'
Darida's corner is half-cleared by the fists of Gulacsi. The ball is headed back into the box but Leipzig stand firm.
53'
Nagelsmann's men are rather toiling at the moment. They put five past Mainz at the weekend but have struggled to create much of anything from open play today.
51'
OFF TARGET! Sabitzer spots Adams in space to his right and plays the ball into his team-mate's path. Adams has the option to cross the ball, but he instead goes for goal himself and rather scuffs it.
49'
Halstenberg makes an important sliding intervention to prevent Ibisevic getting on the end of a pass around the back.
48'
Leipzig captain Sabitzer floats a pass forward but it is a simple one for Hertha to deal with.
47'
The home team have injected a little more pace into their passing at the start of the second half. Nagelsmann clearly wants his players to get at Hertha a little more.
46'
RESTART! Leipzig, who can climb a place into second with victory here, get us back underway at the Red Bull Arena.
45' +5
Hertha float the deep free-kick towards the edge of the six-yard box, where Gulacsi is waiting to gather. That should be that in terms of the first half.
HALF-TIME: RB LEIPZIG 1-1 HERTHA BERLIN
45' +4
M. Halstenberg gets yellow.
Cunha is caught by Halstenberg, who becomes the second player to enter the referee's book.
45' +3
Jarstein keeps his eye on the ball through a crowd of bodies to collect a dangerous free-kick from the right.
45' +2
Leipzig are not getting very far at the moment as the first half peters out. Olmo carries the ball down the right but is only able to pick out a Hertha player with his pass down the line.
45'
There have been plenty of injury stoppages in the first half, so it is not at all surprising to see four minutes added on.
44'
Olmo threads the ball around the back of the Hertha defence, but it has too much pace on it for Werner - quiet so far by his usual standards - and Jarstein is there to collect.
42'
P. Pekarík gets yellow.
Nkunku is far too quick for Pekarik and the Hertha right-back is left with no choice but to drag his opponent down to the ground.
40'
CHANCE FOR IBISEVIC! Lukebakio pulls the ball back for Ibisevic inside the opposition box, but the Hertha striker - with two goals in two games prior to today - gets under it and fires over the crossbar. That has to go down as a good chance for the visitors.
38'
Leipzig are being made to work incredibly hard to get a foothold on the game. Hertha have had 40 per cent of the ball, but they have a good shape to them and look dangerous when they get forward.
32'
A freakish ricochet off Sabitzer leaves Gulacsi a little panicked, but the ball goes behind for a corner. The set-piece is worked short and Mittelstadt creates a better angle to swing it towards Ibisevic, who cannot keep his effort on target.
30'
Lukebakio has Darida up for support, but he slips when trying to take the ball around Laimer as a promising Hertha attack breaks down.
24'
L. Klostermann has scored a goal for RB Leipzig! Assist by C. Nkunku.
GOOOOOOAAAAALLL!!!! LEIPZIG 1-1 HERTHA!! The hosts get themselves back on level terms through a Klostermann header. The centre-back gets to Nkunku's corner first and guides the ball into the far side of the net, which remained unprotected by any Hertha players.
Like Plattenhardt for the game's opening goal, Nkunku's set-piece delivery was spot on and crying out to be attacked. Klostermann did exactly that for his third league goal of the season.
21'
Darida remains down is receiving the magic sponge treatment from Hertha's physios. Labbadia may well be forced into a second substitution here.
17'
Boyata fouls Werner and Leipzig have a chance to get the ball into the box from the free-kick. The set-piece is rather disappointing, though, and the hosts' slow start continues.
15'
Leipzig have not really got going so far, and that is largely down to the visitors' impressive workrate. Nagelsmann's side have yet to manage an attempt of any note.
13'
SHOT! Hertha look full of confidence - not surprising on the back of successive wins - as they continue to take the game to their opponents. Some nice build-up play culminates in Lukebakio teeing up Darida for a long-ranger than bends wide of the target.
11'
M. Mittelstädt enters the game and replaces M. Plattenhardt.
Somewhat controversially, Plattenhardt has now been replaced by Mittelstadt. The left-back injured his head with five minutes played, set up the opener after nine minutes and has been forced off with 11 minutes on the clock. Should he have been taken off earlier?
9'
M. Grujić has scored a goal for Hertha Berlin! Assist by M. Plattenhardt.
GOOOAAAAAALLLL!!!!! LEIPZIG 0-1 HERTHA!!! The visitors take an early lead through Grujic's quick reactions. Plattenhardt swings in a corner from the left, Boyata fails to get to it but Liverpool loanee Grujic flicks out his right leg and guides the ball away from Gulacsi.
Plattenhardt looked as though he would have to go off with a head injury a little earlier. Labbadia will be delighted that the full-back stayed on as his set-piece delivery once again leads to a goal.
8'
SAVE! Leipzig flood players forward and space opens up for Laimer to pull the trigger from range. The attempt is on target but is too close to Jarstein, who has a routine save to make.
6'
Plattenhardt is now back on the field for Hertha after being checked over by the physio.
3'
In fact, it appears to be more of a back five for the home side, meaning Adams will play as a wing-back. Far from ideal for Nagelsmann!
2'
Leipzig were forced to make a late change to their starting line-up due to an injury sustained by Kampl in the warm-up. Adams is now playing at right-back in what appears to be a back four.
1'
KICK-OFF! Following a minute's silence to remember all those that have lost their lives to COVID-19, Hertha get us up and running. This is the first of five games today in the Bundesliga.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Bundesliga clash between RB Leipzig and Hertha Berlin at the Red Bull Arena.
Leipzig returned to winning ways in style on Sunday courtesy of a 5-0 victory over Mainz, with star man Timo Werner helping himself to a hat-trick in that one-sided affair. Julian Nagelsmann's side now have a chance to climb into second above Borussia Dortmund, who fell to defeat in Tuesday's Klassiker against league leaders Bayern Munich.
Hertha have won two games from two since Bundesliga action resumed earlier this month, coinciding with the appointment of Bruno Labbadia. The capital club have scored seven goals without reply against Hoffenheim and city rivals Union Berlin, but they have a poor record in this fixture.
Subs: Ademola Lookman, Emil Forsberg, Yvon Mvogo, Amadou Haidara, Angelino, Hannes Wolf, Nordi Mukiele, Willi Orban, Tyler Adams.
LEIPZIG XI (4-4-2): Peter Gulacsi; Konrad Laimer, Lukas Klostermann, Dayot Upamecano, Marcel Halstenberg; Dani Olmo, Marcel Sabitzer (c), Kevin Kampl, Christopher Nkunku; Patrik Schick, Timo Werner.
Subs: Lazar Samardzic, Lukas Klunter, Javairo Dilrosun, Dennis Smarsch, Marton Dardai, Maximilian Mittelstadt, Krzysztof Piatek, Jessic Ngankam, Arne Maier.
HERTHA XI (4-2-3-1): Rune Jarstein; Peter Pekarik, Dedryck Boyata, Jordan Torunarigha, Marvin Plattenhardt; Marko Grujic, Per Skjelbred; Dodi Lukebakio, Vladimir Darida, Matheus Cunha; Vedad Ibisevic (c).
The teams are coming out onto the pitch at the Red Bull Arena, with kick-off just moments away. This game will be played without any supporters present, as will every other Bundesliga match for the foreseeable future amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Plattenhardt set up Hertha's opening goal but was substituted two minutes later, the full-back unable to fully recover from an earlier clash of heads. Hertha's players were dropping like flies in the opening 45 minutes, but Labbadia does still have four substitutions available to use should he wish, while opposite number Nagelsmann has all five.
That's all for today's live coverage. Thanks for joining!
Leipzig have now drawn four of their last five matches and stay third in the table ahead of next Monday's trip to Cologne. As for Hertha, it is two wins and a draw for them under Labbadia as they look ahead to Saturday's home clash with Augsburg.
