Firmino gets the game underway for Brazil!
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the international friendly match between Brazil and Argentina at the King Saud University Stadium!
The two teams come into this game in very different form. Brazil are still looking for their first victory following their Copa America success in July, having drawn three and lost one of their last four games. As for Argentina, they've lost just one of their last nine games in all competitions, though that was a 2-0 loss to Brazil in the Copa America semi-finals.
BRAZIL STARTING XI (4-5-1): Alisson; Danilo, Thiago Silva, Eder Militao, Alex Sandro; Gabriel Jesus, Arthur, Casemiro, Lucas Paqueta, Willian; Roberto Firmino.
ARGENTINA STARTING XI (4-4-2): Esteban Andrada; Juan Foyth, Nicolas Otamendi, German Pezzella, Nicolas Tagliafico; Rodrigo De Paul, Leandro Paredes, Giovani Lo Celso, Lucas Ocampos; Lautaro Martinez, Lionel Messi.
BRAZIL SUBS: Santos, Daniel Fuzato, Emerson, Renan Lodi, Felipe, Marquinhos, Fabinho, David Luiz, Philippe Coutinho, Rodrygo, Richarlison, Wesley.
ARGENTINA SUBS: Juan Musso, Nicolas Dominguez, Marcos Acuna, Nicolas Gonzalez, Emiliano Martinez, Guido Rodriguez, Paulo Dybala, Sergio Aguero, Walter Kannemann, Lucas Alario, Alexis Mac Allister, Remzo Saravia.
Brazil have lost just one of their last six matches against Argentina in all competitions, winning four of those games without conceding a goal (D1).
The teams are out on the pitch now, with kick-off just moments away.
Tite will be expecting a reaction from his side after the break as he will want to end Brazil's winless run since the Copa America. They've only had one shot on target, by Jesus in the sixth minute, and they need to keep hold of the ball better when they get into the final third. Like Brazil, Argentina haven't had too many shots in the game, but Scaloni will be happy to have the lead at half-time. All of their chances have fallen to Messi and he's looked the most dangerous for them.
That's all for today, goodbye!
Argentina's unbeaten run extends to six games and they will be hoping to end their year on a high with another win against Uruguay on Monday. Brazil's winless run continues as Tite's side are now without a win in five games. He will be hoping to turn things around in their next game though when they face South Korea.
