Foster has been excellent in the Watford goal tonight, producing some fine saves to deny Spurs throughout the game and he will be disappointed to concede so late on.

Here is the first Watford substitution of the game, with Deulofeu coming off the pitch and he has been replaced by Success.
58'
It looks like Watford might be about to make their first change of the game, in an attempt to get back into the swing of the game. Deeney is cutting a very isolated figure up top at the moment, it's attack after attack from Tottenham.

Tottenham are playing the ball around the pitch nicely, making Watford sit deep and soak up the pressure, shifting from side to side to limit the space in behind.

As it stands at the moment, Watford would move up to seventh in the Premier League table, behind Manchester United.
42'
Spurs are pressing forward in search of an equalising goal, but they aren't troubling Watford much and the visitors look pretty comfortable at the back. Tottenham are making too many sloppy errors, with misplaced passes handing the ball straight back to the Hornets.
40'
Can Tottenham get back into the game before the break? There isn't long left to play until the half-time whistle.
38'
C. Cathcart has scored a goal for Watford!
GOOOAAALLL! Watford take the lead, it's 1-0! The visitors kept the pressure up on Spurs, winning back-to-back corners after Mariappa's shot is deflected. Holebas whips a terrific ball into the box, which tempts Lloris to come off his line and try to punch the ball, but he misses. Sanchez gets a touch, which takes it into the path of Cathcart, who pounces on it to fire the ball into the back of the net. A scrappy goal, but Watford won't mind one bit.
35'
It's all Tottenham at the moment, with the visitors getting everyone back behind the ball and they are camped inside their own half, soaking up the Spurs pressure, allowing the home side to keep the ball.
33'
We have out first corner of the game! Tottenham with the opportuntity from the set piece, but Eriksen's ball into the box is easily cut out by Watford.
31'
We're past the half an hour mark now at Wembley and it remains goalless between Tottenham and Watford, in a game that has struggled to get going, with not much quality on show in front of goal.

25'
Janmaat tries his luck from long range after the ball falls nicely into his path, following Deeney's blocked effort. However, the right-backs shot flies high over the Spurs crossbar.
21'
There are a lot of empty seats at Wembley this evening, certainly not an attendance record and the atmosphere is quite flat, with neither set of fans having much to shout about so far.
19'
Tottenham are enjoying much more possession now, but much of it is in their own half as Watford are doing a good job of keeping them away from their final third.
17'
Almost! Excellent play by Eriksen to skip past his marker on the edge of the box and lay the ball off to Son who was races through on goal. The striker takes a touch, which is too heavy and Foster is quick off his line to smother the ball.
15'
Decent effort! Eriksen with an effort from just outside the box, which takes a deflection off Mariappa and has to be well saved by Foster, adjusting his feet quickly and making a good save, gathering the ball on the second attempt.
13'
Son is causing the Watford defence a lot of problems at the moment, he looks like Tottenham;s best attacking threat so far. It will be interesting to see how long the striker can last after returning from the Asian Cup earlier this week.
8'
A few moments ago it looked like Deeney had picked up a slight knock, he was walking gingerly around the pitch. However, he now appears to be fine.
7'
The pace of the game is quite slow at the moment, with neither team really going for it in the early stages. Watford are pressing high and not allowing Tottenham any space to play into, so it's all just in the middle of the pitch.
5'
Not too far away! Janmaat with a terrific cross into the penalty area from the right wing and Deeney is well positioned to get on the end of it, but just as he goes up for the header, Alderweireld gets a slight touch on the ball and takes it away from the Hornets striker.

2'
Bright start by Watford, keeping the ball nicely in the Tottenham half and Deeney almost gets on the end of a lovely chipped ball over the top by Hughes. However, Lloris reads it well and gathers the ball.

We're underway!
Hello and welcome to our LIVE match commentary of the Premier League clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Watford at Wembley.
Tottenham will look to put their cup exits behind them today, by getting back to winning ways in the league. They could consolidate their position in the top four with victory over Watford, as they are currently third, five points behind Manchester City. Last time in the league they managed to beat Fulham 2-1 late on, thanks to a 93rd minute winner from Harry Winks.
Watford could move up to seventh with a win tonight and they beat Spurs 2-1 in the repeat fixture at Vicarage Road earlier in the season. The Hornets are unbeaten in their last six games, including a 2-0 victory over Newcastle in the FA Cup last weekend.

Watford lead 1-0 at the break, thanks to Cathcart's goal on his return to the starting line-up. There haven't been too many chances for either team, but the pace increased as the game went on, with Foster called into action to deny Eriksen and Vertonghen. Tottenham have seen more of the ball, but Llorente has looked isolated at times and they struggled to create a clear goalscoring chance.
Cathcart scored in the return fixture at Vicarage Road earlier in the season and he's returned to haunt Spurs tonight. It was a scrappy goal, with the centre-back putting the ball into the back of the net from just a couple of yards out after a mistake by Lloris, as the corner came into the penalty area. Watford look comfortable and Spurs will need to up their game if they are to get anything out of the match.
Llorente is the hero for Tottenham as they complete a comeback late on, after Watford led for so much of the game. The visitors took the lead late in the first half, after Cathcart took advantage of Lloris' misjudgement to fire his side ahead. Spurs dominated the second half, throwing everything at Watford, with Moura having a real impact from the bench, with his direct running. They finally got their equalising goal in the 80th minute after Son smashed the ball home, following Llorente's pass. The striker then scored the winning goal a few minutes later, his header beating Foster to get Tottenham back to winning ways.
That's all from us tonight folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
