With the way the game has gone, there could be another hour of action and a goal would still be unlikely. Unsurprisingly, some fans have headed for the exits.
90' +1
There will be four minutes of time added on at the end of the second half.
89'
Cardiff have a chance to create an opportunity with Hoilett moving forward with intent in a wide position but his cross is easily collected by Lossl, who has not had too much to do in the game.
87'
L. Depoitre enters the game and replaces S. Mounié.
Final change for Huddersfield is an attacking one, with Depoitre replacing Mounie.
86'
Not too long to go and a point would not do too much for Huddersfield apart from ending their losing streak. They would remain eight points behind Cardiff and safety, having shown no suggestion they could turn things around in the months ahead.
84'
It continues to be a scrappy game in the middle of the park as both sides look to find a winner, although still lack the quality in the final third to make a difference.
82'
J. Bennett gets yellow.
Bennett deliberately fouls Kachunga to bring an end to Huddersfield's surge forward, adding further fuel to Wagner's fury.
81'
There is a really fiery atmosphere to the game now. Wagner is still furious with that penalty incident, while Warnock has been arguing with everything that has gone against his side throughout the match. We could be set for a dramatic ending.
79'
A truly bizarre sequence of events. Bennett did unintentionally foul Hadergjonaj, although there was an argument that the incident took place outside the area, but the referee was in a far better position than his linesman and it is unclear why he followed that advice. It could be a huge moment in Huddersfield's season.
Minute
Description
75'
Just 15 minutes plus stoppage time remaining and there is still nothing to seperate the two teams. Cardiff will be the happier side with a point but it would be a missed opportunity for Warnock's side.
73'
R. Healey enters the game and replaces N. Mendez-Laing.
I. Mbenza enters the game and replaces A. Pritchard.
Wagner calls for an attacking substitution in his first change of the match, replacing Pritchard with Mbenza.
Cardiff follow with a change of their own, replacing Mendez-Laing with Healey - who recently returned from a loan spell with MK Dons, where he scored nine goals.
71'
J. Hoilett gets yellow.
Hoilett takes too much time on the ball and loses possession, then lunging into Kachunga and earning a yellow card.
70'
Big block from Schindler as Cardiff break after stealing possession, with Paterson trying his luck from distance but seeing the Huddersfield man jump in the way of his attempt.
68'
This can certainly be considered as evidence that both sides need to be active during the remainder of the January transfer window as, on current viewing, relegation looks like a real threat.
66'
Puncheon runs too soon and is flagged offside, with another decent attacking move going begging for Huddersfield, but the visitors continue to look like the side more likely to break the deadlock.
64'
J. Ralls enters the game and replaces Camarasa.
Confirmation of Cardiff's first change and Camarasa is unable to continue, with Ralls coming on to take his spot.
59'
A huge opportunity wasted for Huddersfield as Pritchard surged into space down the left but plays a poor pass towards Kachunga, which Cardiff quickly pounce upon.
56'
Another corner for Huddersfield, their seventh of the game, but Pritchard's delivery is not able to create an opportunity for his side.
54'
It will surely not be too long until we see the sides turn to the bench as both could do with improvement. Huddersfield are starting to push back onto the front foot though.
52'
Cardiff have been lively since the restart but cannot find room to work with in the final third, while Huddersfield continue to pose a threat at the other end.
50'
An end-to-end start to the second period as both sides desperately try to find an opening. However, both goalkeepers have been given very little to do throughout the match.
46'
Huddersfield get the action back underway for the second half.
45' +3
HALF-TIME: CARDIFF CITY 0-0 HUDDERSFIELD TOWN
45' +1
There will be three minutes of additional time at the end of the first half.
44'
It is looking increasingly like that this game will be settled by either a moment of magic or a huge mistake and, given the lack of quality the two sides possess in the final third, it seems more likely the latter will happen.
42'
Hoilett fires a dangerous corner into the middle and Huddersfield cannot get the ball away. Lossl believes he was fouled but nothing is given and the ball bounces behind for a goal kick, with Morrison somehow unable to tuck home at the far post.
38'
Half a chance for Huddersfield as a long throw causes problems, with Mounie knocking the ball on and Ecule Manga is forced to put the ball behind for a corner from close range. Pritchard fires towards the near post but it is easily dealt with by Arter.
36'
Jorgensen is penalised for a foul on Camarasa inside the area while waiting for Pritchard's delivery from a corner to be swung in and he is fortunate not to have attracted further attention from the referee, as he swung his arm towards the midrift of the Cardiff midfielder.
34'
Same old story for Huddersfield as they are showing signs of promise but seem to lack the required quality in the final third. Puncheon has done well and looks lively but it has not led to any moments of note.
33'
H. Arter gets yellow.
Arter clatters into Mounie with a late challenge and, after initially allowing play to continue with an advantage, has his name taken by Lee Mason.
31'
Etheridge is forced to tip a looping ball over his own net, with the last chance looking like it came off his own man, and Huddersfield win a corner. Mounie heads the ball towards goal from a far distance and Kachunga then nods it on again but the offside flag is raised.
30'
Huddersfield, who entered this game on the back of nine consecutive defeats in all competitions, have looked to be the better side in the first half but they are not doing enough in the final third.
26'
Cardiff fans are furiously appealing against every decision that goes against their side and Warnock's bench is also getting involved but there has not been too many contentious decisions in the game, so it is difficult to see why they are so frustrated.
24'
Huge block from Bennett as Huddersfield worked their way into space with Kachunga fed through but the Cardiff man does superbly to get in the way of the shot.
23'
Huddersfield are starting to find their feet and are asking questions of the Cardiff defence but Etheridge, just like Lossl at the other end, has had nothing to do so far.
21'
Morrison bundles over Pritchard and Huddersfield have another opportunity in a wide position to float a free-kick into the middle. Pritchard fires a dangerous cross towards the far post but Cardiff eventually manage to clear the danger.
19'
Gunnarsson is furious with Hoilett, claiming the Huddersfield man dived, but no action is taken and the referee waves play on. There is certainly a lot of fight being shown by both sides.
17'
Warnock can be pleased with the display shown by his Cardiff side so far but, for all their pressure in attack, Lossl is yet to be forced into a save.
11'
Cardiff are not happy with the challenge and feel that Schindler should have been punished further but that would have been harsh. A yellow is the right decision.
10'
C. Schindler gets yellow.
A poor challenge from Schindler as he slides into Mendez-Laing, giving the referee no choice.
8'
WIDE! Puncheon, on his Premier League debut for Huddersfield, drills a ferocious shot from outside the area just wide of the mark with Etheridge beaten.
7'
The Cardiff fans are expressing their dismay after the referee judges Hoilett to have fouled Hogg but it was certainly the right decision from Lee Mason.
5'
Cardiff are putting the visiting side under a wealth of pressure in the opening exchanges but they have not quite been able to find their way through with the final ball. The signs are promising for the hosts, though.
3'
Gunnarsson fouls Pritchard in a wide position that allows Huddersfield to fire a cross into the middle. Pritchard does that but Cardiff manage to clear the ball, relieving the danger.
1'
The hosts get the action underway at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the Premier League clash between Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town, where both sides are looking to secure valuable points in their quest to avoid relegation.
Cardiff suffered a shock FA Cup exit at the hands of Gillingham last weekend, leaving them with just one win in their last six matches across all competitions. Meanwhile, Huddersfield are rooted to the bottom of the Premier League having lost their last eight league games in a row.
Cardiff XI (4-1-4-1): Neil Etheridge; Bruno Ecuele Manga, Sean Morrison, Sol Bamba, Joe Bennett; Aron Gunnarsson; Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, Harry Arter, Victor Camarasa, Junior Hoilett; Callum Paterson.
Cardiff subs: Alex Smithies, Josh Murphy, Lee Peltier, Bobby Reid, Greg Cunningham, Joe Ralls, Rhys Healey.
Huddersfield XI (4-2-3-1): Jonas Lossl; Florent Hadergjonaj, Christopher Schindler, Mathias Jorgensen, Erik Durm; Philip Billing, Jonathan Hogg; Elias Kachunga, Alex Pritchard, Jason Puncheon; Steve Mounie.
Huddersfield subs: Ben Hamer, Tommy Smith, Chris Lowe, Laurent Depoitre, Jon Gorenc Stankovic, Terence Kongolo, Isaac Mbenza.
The two teams are heading onto the field ahead of a game that will be crucial in the relegation fight this season.
Nothing to seperate the two sides at the break but Huddersfield have been the better side, although a lack of quality in the final third has once again been their downfall. Cardiff have also struggled to create opportunities, spending more time arguing with the officials than they have with the ball.
Huddersfield will hope to continue as things are in the second half and could do with Puncheon seeing more of the ball, as he has been lively, but they need somebody to step up. Cardiff could also do with a fresh injection of talent and substitutions could prove to be decisive in the second period.
Cardiff face another relegation rival next week as they travel to Newcastle, while Huddersfield may already be starting to think about the Championship next season after nine league matches without a win. Things do not get any easier for Wagner's side as they tackle Manchester City, Everton, Chelsea and Arsenal in their next four games.
Thanks for joining our coverage today. Until next time, goodbye.
