D. Origi enters the game and replaces Mohamed Salah.
Salah's game is over. He leaves the field, to be replaced by Origi. The Egyptian looks set to be Liverpool's matchwinner today.
90'
N. Keïta enters the game and replaces S. Mané.
Another change for Liverpool, with Keita replacing Mane as we head into four minutes of added time.
89'
Appeals for handball from Brighton, as Van Dijk challenges with Locadia. There is nothing doing for the referee, though, and Liverpool are able to clear their lines.
86'
A loose touch by Dunk almost allows Mane to capitalise, but Button races off his line to prevent Liverpool adding a second. But the hosts can’t get any momentum, and are quickly on the back foot once more, with Mane seeing a strike deflect wide for a corner.
81'
CLOSE! Salah turns provider with a neat pass into Wijnaldum, who manages to get the ball out of his feet before arrowing a strike towards the right corner. Button was beaten, but the ball whistles wide.
79'
B. Kayal enters the game and replaces P. Groß.
A final change for Brighton. Gross, who conceded the penalty which gave Liverpool the chance to take the lead, makes way for Kayal.
74'
Alexander-Arnold whips in a dangerous free-kick, but Brighton – at the second attempt – manage to bundle it clear before Mane could latch onto the loose ball.
72'
J. Milner enters the game and replaces X. Shaqiri.
Liverpool have made their final change. Shaqiri is off, with Milner coming on. That means the Reds will switch to a three-man midfield, with Firmino moving wide.
70'
Duffy rises to meet the corner, which is swung into the back post, but despite Brighton’s appeals for penalty – the hosts claiming that Mane had nudged their defender in the back – referee Friend is having none of it.
Minute
Description
67'
Hughton’s changes are like-for-like, although Andone does offer more pace than Murray, while Knockaert more guile and craft than March.
66'
F. Andone enters the game and replaces G. Murray.
A. Knockaert enters the game and replaces S. March.
Hughton has seen enough, and will now make two changes. The first substitution sees Murray make way for Andone.
March has also made way, with Knockaert coming on in his place.
60'
Brighton are starting to offer more of an attacking threat now, although Hughton will not be happy with Stephens’ decision to take on an ambitious first-time effort 30 yards from goal. The midfielder netted his first Premier League goal in his last league outing, but that effort was nowhere near to testing Alisson.
56'
Salah is drifting all over the final third at the moment, stretching Brighton’s defence out of shape, and that is enabling Firmino, Mane and Shaqiri to plug the gaps. The Egyptian has been superb since coming back out for the second half.
54'
Liverpool have definitely come out sharper since the restart, and Brighton need to make sure they stay in this game and then build from there. Salah is dropping deep, acting as playmaker in chief for the Reds, who are looking to make it two and put this contest to bed.
52'
That takes Salah onto 14 league goals for the campaign, meaning he is tied with Harry Kane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the top of the Premier League scoring charts.
50'
Penalty goal scored by Mohamed Salah for Liverpool!
Liverpool lead! An emphatic finish by Salah, who makes no mistake with a powerful strike into the right-hand corner. Button guessed the right way, but could not keep it out.
47'
Excellent hold up play from Murray, as the experienced striker holds off his marker before spinning the ball into Locadia, who drives into space down the left before getting his head up and picking out March. The winger looks to knock the ball down into Gross’ path, but gets too much on his header, with Alisson able to collect.
46'
After a false start, with Firmino a little too eager to get restarted, we are back underway on the south coast.
45' +1
HALF-TIME: BRIGHTON 0-0 LIVERPOOL.
44'
Liverpool are back in control now, working their way upfield patiently. Shaqiri finds Alexander-Arnold, who picks out Salah, but he cannot quite link up with Firmino, and Button is able to gather the loose ball in.
42'
Brighton have defended resolutely, and are now looking to offer a threat going the other way as half-time approaches. A scrappy clearance from Fabinho almost falls to Locadia, but Wijnaldum intervenes, with Alisson then calmly playing his way out of trouble by finding Robertson, who wins a free-kick.
39'
Locadia looks set to break clear, with Liverpool’s defence having pushed high. However, the Reds’ gamble pays off, as the Dutchman is caught offside.
35'
Much to Brighton’s chagrin, referee Kevin Friend does not award the hosts a free-kick deep in Liverpool’s half, and that enables the Reds to counter. The ball is eventually delivered into Henderson, who connects with a diving header, but Dunk is on hand to make a block.
33'
Locadia has been in good form in front of goal as of late, scoring twice in his last three Premier League outings, and Brighton may well be able to use his pace as an outlet should they be able to counter when Alexander-Arnold is pressed high upfield.
31'
Shaqiri has been integral to Liverpool’s play so far, having been handed a licence to drift in from the right-hand side and link up with Firmino and Salah, with Alexander-Arnold providing the width. Brighton, though, are remaining disciplined.
29'
Chris Hughton will have expected his side to be on the back foot for much of this game, but he will be keen for Brighton to press out and not get pinned back on the edge of their own area.
25'
CLOSE! Fabinho latches onto a cross from the right, but can't keep his header on target. Alexander-Arnold got the ball in, and despite reports of that earlier injury, he seems have hit his stride now.
23'
Firmino does get himself involved now, with a clever flick into Salah’s path. However, he is crowded out by Brighton’s defence, with Bong nudging the ball out of play for a corner.
17'
That chance for Murray is just a hint that Brighton can test Liverpool's makeshift defence, and Klopp will be eager for his side to turn their dominance of possession into more goalscoring opportunities.
11'
Liverpool are controlling possession, as would be expected, with Brighton seemingly content to sit deep and attempt to frustrate the league leaders.
7'
Stephens tries to set Murray away with a throughball, but Liverpool’s defence move up in time, catching the striker offside.
5'
Alexander-Arnold reportedly sustained an injury in the warm up, and it does not look like the full-back is moving at all freely. Klopp may well have to make an early change.

KICK-OFF! We are up and running at the AMEX.
Hello and welcome to LIVE coverage of Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Brighton and Hove Albion!
Wolves were also Liverpool’s last opponent, beating the Reds 2-1 in the FA Cup third round five days ago. Klopp fielded a much-changed side for that game, though, and will be hoping his first-choice players get Liverpool back to winning ways.
Brighton, meanwhile, are unbeaten in their last three Premier League fixtures, with a home win over Everton wedged in-between draws against Arsenal and West Ham. The Seagulls sit 13th, and would move into 11th with a win.
BRIGHTON (4-5-1): David Button; Martin Montoya, Shane Duffy, Lewis Dunk, Gaetan Bong; Solly March, Pascal Gross, Dale Stephens, Davy Propper, Jurgen Locadia; Glenn Murray.
BRIGHTON SUBS: Bruno, Beram Kayal, Florin Andone, Anthony Knockaert, Leon Balogun, Jason Steele, Max Sanders.
LIVERPOOL SUBS: James Milner, Naby Keita, Alberto Moreno, Simon Mignolet, Divock Origi, Joel Matip, Rafael Camacho.
LIVERPOOL (4-2-3-1): Alisson; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson; Jordan Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum; Xherdan Shaqiri, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane; Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool have been hit by a glut of injuries in defence, which means Fabinho again starts at the back alongside Van Dijk. Salah looks set to start up front, with Shaqiri, Firmino and Mane supplying the support. Brighton have gone with a compact 4-5-1, with top-scorer Murray their sole attacker.
The teams are out, with kick-off just moments away!
Having gone 21 league games unbeaten, Liverpool slumped to their first defeat of the campaign against title rivals Manchester City last time out. Jurgen Klopp’s side still lead the way by four points at the top, however, and a win today would see them put the pressure back on City, who face Wolves on Monday.
Liverpool have controlled possession, but in terms of clear-cut chances, have created little of note. Shaqiri went close with a header that flashed wide of the post, while Firmino failed to connect properly with a close-range effort. At the other end, Murray headed over from what was Brighton’s only sighting of goal.
While Klopp will have expected his side to have to be patient, Liverpool could do with showing more urgency in the final third, and must look to get Alexander-Arnold and Robertson involved as much as possible if they are to stretch Brighton's disciplined defence. Hughton, meanwhile, will know that with Murray and the in-form Locadia as attacking outlets, his side are capable of getting on the scoresheet should they remain in this contest.
That’s all from me for now. Until next time, thank you and goodbye!
Liverpool now switch focus to successive home games against Crystal Palace and Leicester City, while Brighton prepare to face Manchester United at Old Trafford.
