There will be three minutes added on at the end of this match.
89'
É. Lamela enters the game and replaces M. Acuña.
Lamela makes his first appearance since September 2016 as he replaces Acuna for the final minute.
88'
G. Giménez enters the game and replaces L. Paredes.
Gimenez comes on for his Argentina debut, which will be brief, as he replaces Paredes in midfield.
84'
It looked initially as though that was Icardi's goal, but the replay is clear. That went in off Brizuela, as Icardi doesn't get to break his duck - the striker still looking for his first international goal.
83'
I. Brizuela is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
ARGENTINA DOUBLE THEIR LEAD! 2-0! It's come from out of nowhere really, as a well-worked move sends Saravia into space down the right and his cross is turned into the net by the substitute Brizuela, who was trying to clear ahead of Icardi's arrival!
82'
Not a whole lot happening at the moment, as Mexico's push for an equaliser has not been the most inspiring with Argentina doing a great job sucking the tempo out of the match. Time is running out for El Tri, who need to throw caution to the wind.
79'
I. Brizuela enters the game and replaces M. Layún.
Another change for the visitors as they bring on Brizuela in place of Layun.
76'
Into the final 15 minutes and Mexico are enjoying a decent spell of possession in the attacking half. Their growth in the ascendancy has been incredibly slow, but it has been steady as well. Still, they really need to pick things up because at this rate they're running out of time.
74'
R. Alvarado enters the game and replaces É. Gutiérrez.
Mexico go to the bench for the first time since half-time, as Alvarado replaces Gutierrez. It's a fourth cap for the 20-year-old Cruz Azul midfielder.

Description
72'
F. Vázquez enters the game and replaces P. Dybala.
Dybala's number is called as he has now gone 17 international appearances without a goal, but the local hero goes off to a rousing applause from the supporters in Cordoba as he's replaced by Vazquez, the Sevilla winger earning his third cap.
69'
The tempo has steadily slowed since the restart, and the match has officially entered a really cagey period. The ball is largely being contained in midfield right now, with both sides sort of taking the opportunity to collect themselves ahead of the final 20 minutes.
67'
M. Meza enters the game and replaces G. Lo Celso.
Lo Celso scuffs a shot wide of the fat post from 20 yards and that will be his last involvement of the night as he is replaced by Meza.
65'
Mexico have certainly upped the intent since the restart, but they're really struggling to break down this Argentina defence that has hardly put a foot wrong thus far. It has been an excellent debut for Spurs centre-back Foyth.
63'
OFFSIDE! Zalvidar is just too slow getting the ball out of his feet as Jimenez winds up straying inches offside before being played through on goal! He had to move a bit quicker there. Jimenez missed the chance, but it's very possible he saw the flag raised before shooting and that impacted his final effort.
59'
Mexico are afforded a decent opportunity as Layun wins a free-kick on the right flank, but the subsequent delivery is lacking in quality as Argentina are able to clear their lines. The visitors are struggling to pick out a decisive ball on the front foot.
57'
M. Icardi enters the game and replaces L. Martínez.
Argentina's second change of the match sees Icardi come on to replace his Inter team-mate Martinez in a like-for-like swap up top.
56'
De Paul leads Argentina forward on a fast break and picks out Dybala to his left. The local hero quickly cuts inside as he looks to shoot, but flashes an effort over the bar! He really wants to get on the scoresheet tonight, and you can understand why.
54'
OFFSIDE! A bit of a scramble at the back for Argentina as Mexico threaten from a free-kick, with the ball eventually falling kindly for Gutierrez in the area, but the offside flag is raised against one of his team-mates in the build-up. Gutierrez shoots anyways, blasting high and wide of the far corner.
50'
Delightful effort! Wonderful bit of skill from Dybala as he dribbles his way into the area and produces a lovely little chip over the head of Ochoa, but his effort just crashes onto the roof of the net!
48'
It's been a bit of a slower start to this second half as the substitutes take some time to assimilate. Mexico are changed quite a bit, but they've not taken much time to get into their defensive shape.
46'
V. Guzmán enters the game and replaces M. Fabián.
J. Domínguez enters the game and replaces L. Rodríguez.
Á. Zaldívar enters the game and replaces A. Pulido.
R. De Paul enters the game and replaces Á. Correa.
G. Arteaga enters the game and replaces J. Gallardo.
At the break. Mexico bring on Guzman, the 23-year-old Pachuca attacking midfielder, to replace Fabian.
Argentina make one change as De Paul comes on for just his second cap, replacing Correa.
Arteaga comes on at left-back at the expense of Gallardo.
Zalvidar enters the fray in attack for Mexico, replacing Pulido.
Dominguez replaces Rodriguez at right-back for El Tri.
Back underway with the second half!
45'
HALF-TIME: ARGENTINA 1-0 MEXICO.
44'
R. Funes Mori has scored a goal for Argentina! Assist by P. Dybala.
A flawless delivery from Dybala served that up on a platter for Funes Mori, as he provides the asisst.
ARGENTINA HAVE THE BREAKTHROUGH! IT'S 1-0! Mexico's defence all out of sorts as they let three Argentina players in behind, any one of whom could have head home Dybala's free-kick, but it's Funes Mori who does so, bouncing an effort beyond Ochoa from a few yards out.
43'
Into the final minutes of the first half and Argentina continue to push for the opener. Lo Celso continues to grow in stature, proving an incredibly influential figure in midfield, as he wins yet another free-kick on the end of a mesmerising run!
41'
Jimenez is lucky to escape a booking as he lunges into a challenge and catches Lo Celso mid-air, leaving the Argentina midfielder on the ground in some pain. The hosts use the resulting free-kick to attack down the right, and Correa is picked out all alone in the centre, but he can't generate any power behind his header as he sends an effort straight at Ochoa.
35'
What a challenge! That is an absolutely exquisite piece of defending from Foyth who slides in stunningly to deny Jimenez what would have been a clean path through on goal! He had to get the timing absolutely perfect there and did just that!
32'
Argentina break threateningly following a bit of a sloppy spell in midfield. Dybala bursts down the left and pulls it back for Martinez, but the striker produces a heavy touch and the chance is gone.
30'
The match has reached the half-hour mark and it remains goalless. Argentina have applied tireless pressure, though they have yet to really carve out a clear-cut chance, while Mexico have offered precious little going forward outside early opportunities for Jimenez and Fabian.
26'
A poor attempted clearance smacks off an Argentina player and drops kindly for Dybala who turns and fires from 15 yards, but his well-struck effort is straight at Ochoa! That would have got this crowd going, if local Cordoba-born hero Dybala opened the scoring.
24'
Á. Correa gets yellow.
Smart running from Pulido sees him win a free-kick as Correa goes into the book for a bad foul.
22'
Correa tries his luck from distance as Mexico struggle to clear their lines, but he flashes an effort well wide of the near post. For all the pressure applied by Argentina, they have yet to test Ochoa.
20'
Following a slower period, Argentina are back on the front foot again. They're moving the ball around so well in the final third, with Mexico having to do a lot of desperate, last-ditch defending.
19'
M. Fabián gets yellow.
Yellow card Marco Jhonfai Fabián De La Mora
16'
Mexico remain keen on getting the ball forward when the opportunity presents itself, with their attacking players lively in making runs off the ball. Argentina have dealt with them well in defence, however.
14'
The tempo has dropped off a bit following an electric start, albeit only slightly. Mexico have managed to slow the waves of Argentina pressure with a good spell of their own in possession.
12'
A smart defensive header does away with a Dybala corner, but the pressure comes straight back on Mexico as Argentina win the ball back straight away and get forward. A bit of carelessness in defence presents Martinez with a chance from 10 yards, but he's penalised for a bit of a soft foul.
10'
The hosts have really settled in following a vulnerable start, and are really pouring the pressure on now. They're attacking with electrifying pace, not allowing Mexico to get their shape.
6'
This is the first meeting between the sides since a 2015 friendly when Sergio Aguero and Lionel Messi scored in the final five minutes to secure a 2-2 draw for Argentina after Javier Hernandez and Hector Herrera opened a 2-0 lead for Mexico. If the first five minutes are anything to go off, goals appear to be on offer tonight as well.
4'
It's certainly been a lively start with both sides showing a good appetite for goals in the early going. Mexico boast plenty of pace on the break and they're not afraid to commit men forward, at least early on here.
1'
AND THEY'RE OFF! Argentina, in their classic light-blue and white stripes, get the match underway, with Mexico in green.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of this international friendly as Argentina welcome Mexico to Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes in Cordoba!
Lionel Scaloni has not enjoyed the best start to life as Argentina coach, losing his biggest test against Brazil, while being held to a draw against Colombia. His only two victories have come against Guatemala and Iraq.
The new boss has yet to enjoy the services of Lionel Messi, and that will again be the case for the two matches against Mexico over this break as the forward has stayed home, only fueling speculation that he could be pondering retiring from international football.
Under temporary management, Mexico have been in a bad way since their World Cup exit, losing three of four matches – against Uruguay, USA and Chile – as the pressure mounts on the federation to find a new coach to help right the ship.
Caretaker boss, Brazilian-born Ricardo Ferretti, will be without some key players for these two matches against Argentina, and with the team trending in the wrong direction it’s only getting harder for them to find a full-time replacement.

SUBS: Sergio Romero, Geronimo Rulli, Paulo Gazzaniga, Gabriel Mercado, Walter Kannemann, Emanuel Mammana, Roberto Pereyra, Maximiliano Meza, Santiago Ascacibar, Rodrigo De Paul, Erik Lamela, Franco Cervi, Franco Vazquez, Gaston Gimenez, Mauro Icardi, Giovanni Simeone.
MEXICO (4-2-3-1): Guillermo Ochoa; Luis Rodriguez, Diego Reyes, Nestor Araujo, Jesus Gallardo; Javier Guemez, Erick Gutierrez; Miguel Layun, Alan Pulidio, Marco Fabian; Raul Jimenez.
SUBS: Jose de Jesus Corona, Hugo Gonzalez, Edson Araujo, Julio Cesar Dominguez, Erick Aguirre, Gerardo Arteaga, Javier Aquino, Jesus Duenas, Isaac Brizuela, Victor Guzman, Roberto Alvarado, Henry Martin, Angel Zaldivar.
Raul Jimenez and Marco Fabian both should have put Mexico ahead inside of two minutes, but it has been all Argentina since - Ramiro Funes Mori finally providing the breakthrough at the stroke of half-time. The Albiceleste look a well-oiled machine in attack, while El Tri appear to be in need of a few changes in their approach if they are to get back into this match.
Mexico are short in numbers in attack with none of Chicharito, Lozano or Jesus Corona making the trip. The two attacking options they have to turn to off the bench are Henry Martin and Angel Zaldivar who have combined for eight international caps and one goal.
That's all for our live coverage, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
