90'

88'
F. Di Santo enters the game and replaces A. Harit.
Amine Harit is replaced by Franco Di Santo for Schalke's final roll of the dice. Two minutes plus injury time left for him to make a difference.

Burgstaller goes to ground inside the box but the referee waves play on. It is all getting a bit heated now as Schalke desperately search for an equaliser. Frankfurt are taking no risks and just smashing the ball clear as soon as they get it.
85'
A cross from the right wing is whipped in with plenty of pace but it can only find Abraham inside the penalty box, who heads the ball into his own body before it trickles back to Hradecky.
84'
Frankfurt have only one player forward as they camp in their own area and look to see out this one-goal lead.

G. Fernandes goes off after a red card!
C. Teuchert enters the game and replaces T. Kehrer.
Gélson Fernandes has been on the pitch for barely three minutes and, after consulting the VAR, the referee decides his foul on Goretzka warrants a straight red card. Frankfurt have 10 minutes to ride out the Schalke storm with 10 men.
Thilo Kehrer is replaced by Cedric Teuchert in Schalke's second change of the night.
78'
G. Fernandes enters the game and replaces Omar Mascarell.

75'
L. Jović has scored a goal for Eintracht Frankfurt! Assist by J. de Guzmán.
L. Jović gets yellow.
Luka Jović is booked for excessive celebration.
GOAL! The first Frankfurt corner is cleared for another corner. It is whipped in from the left by de Guzman from the left and Luka Jovic arrives at the near post to flick the ball with his heel well beyond the immobile Fahrmann and into the far corner. Frankfurt have the lead, very much against the run of play!
Jonathan de Guzmán whips in a delightful cross from the left corner for Jovic to put Frankfurt into the lead, just as Schalke were starting to take control.
73'
Wolf tries to dart beyond Kehrer on the right wing and into the box but it is cleared for a corner by the defender. This game has really come to life now after a tentative first 60 minutes or so from both sides.
72'
D. da Costa enters the game and replaces J. Willems.
Jetro Willems picks up an injury during that bit of defensive work. He is replaced by Danny Vieira da Costa.
71'
The Schalke free kick finds Caligiuri at the back post but he is muscled off the ball by Willems before holding off two Schalke players and firing the ball clear for a throw in. Great work by the Frankfurt defender.
70'
Omar Mascarell gets yellow.
Omar Mascarell is booked for a poor late challenge on Goretzka.
67'
CHANCE! Frankfurt are all over the place defensively and Konoplyanka has acres of space to smash a first time shot goalward from Goretzka's pass. Hradecky saves at the near post and punches it into a defender before it is cleared away.
66'
CHANCE! A brilliant run by Caligiuri evades most of the Frankfurt defenders before he loses his balance. The ball drops kindly for Burgstaller though with only the goalkeeper to beat but his first-time flicked shot towards the far corner is brilliantly saved by Fahrmann, who was quickly off his line to close the space.
65'
CHANCE! Burgstaller accelerates beyond Russ inside the right of the box and fires a low pass across the face of goal. Konoplyanka races towards it but a slight deflection takes it away from him. The game is starting to open up a bit now.
64'
The intial Frankfurt corner gets cleared after a header at the back post can only find a defender. It is whipped back in from the right though and Fabian controls it on his chest inside the box before attempting an acrobatic overhead kick. High and wide though.
63'
Better from Frankfurt. Jovic almost gets beyond Naldo on the left of the box but the Schalke man hammers it out for another corner.
61'
Better delivery this time by Willems but Schalke get it clear.
60'
Frankfurt have their first corner of the game. Jetro Willems takes but it is really poor, curling harmlessly into a Schalke defender on the edge of the box. The Eagles work it back into the box though and it is cleared for another corner.
59'
Leon Goretzka brings down de Guzman with a clumsy late challenge around the halfway line. The referee gives him a last warning after a number of similar challenges. Still neither side offering life in attack.
56'
Another Frankfurt attack comes to a tame end as Fabian's shot from range flies high over the bar. Never troubling Fahrmann with shots like that.
53'
A set piece from the left wing finds Naldo at the back post for Schalke but he cannot get any direction on his header, nodding it far wide of the right post.
52'
Y. Konoplanka enters the game and replaces M. Pjaca.
Marko Pjaca is replaced by Yevhen Konoplyanka. Pjaca has offered little in the final third for the Royal Blues in truth.
51'
It has been very uneventful in these opening five minutes or so of this second half. Neither side are taking any risks. The home fans continue to make plenty of noise though, roaring their side on.
48'
Frankfurt enjoying comfortable possession in these opening stages of the half. They are not looking to turn the tempo up just yet though. Schalke look content to just sit off and wait for their moment to snatch the ball back and counter.
46'
Schalke get the second half underway.
45'
A. Harit gets yellow.
Amine Harit slips on the edge of the box and is caught in the ribs by Russ. The fans are calling for a penalty but the referee gives it the other way, booking the Schalke midfielder in the process for simulation.
The fourth official has indicated one minute of additional time.
43'
M. Gaćinović enters the game and replaces K. Boateng.
Kevin-Prince Boateng never recovered from an earlier knock to the knee and is replaced by Mijat Gaćinović.
Poor from Marco Fabian. Frankfurt pour forward in numbers and the Mexican has the ball on the right with teammates in support. He opts to go alone but his shot is easily blocked and the danger is cleared.
41'
Concern for Frankfurt as Boateng is limping after a couple of heavy challenges earlier in the game. He doesn't look like he can continue as Niko Kovac lines up a substitution.
39'
Frankfurt whip in a free kick from the left but it is once again easily dealt with by the Schalke defence. Frankfurt have done nothing to suggest they can grab a goal in this game.
36'
Schalke are growing in confidence now and are giving Frankfurt no time at all on the ball. They are forcing the away side into mistakes and not allowing them to gain any momentum.
33'
The Schalke corner comes in from the left and finds Guido Burgstaller at the near post. His powerful header looks to be finding the top centre of the goal but it is kept out by an excellent reaction save by Hradecky. The home side get a second corner but it is well cleared by Frankfurt.
32'
CLOSE! A cross from the right is cleared only as far as Daniel Caligiuri outside the box. His low effort is blocked by Abraham but it comes agonisingly close to creeping in at the left post, rolling just wide.
28'
A Frankfurt attack comes to a tame end as David Abraham's deep cross is calmly claimed in the air by Fahrmann. Both teams have lacked the final product to put any real pressure on the defence so far. It has been too easy for both sides.
25'
Schalke work the ball forward slowly, eventually finding Amine Harit on the edge of the box. The midfielder tries to wriggle into space for the shot but he is well crowded out by the Frankfurt defenders.
22'
Frankfurt finally work the ball forward and get it on the right wing with Wolf. He cuts inside and tries to get a shot off but it is blocked right in front of him. The Eagles keep hold of the ball though.
21'
Frankfurt move the ball around the back three as they look to calm the game down a little bit. Schalke are pressing high but having little luck in winning the ball back.
18'
It has been a very physical half so far but there has been nothing to really separate the two sides. Tentative so far.
15'
Some good one-touch football opens up some space in midfield for Schalke but a heavy touch by Schopf forces him to slide onto the loose ball and concede a free kick. Schalke enjoying more of the ball in these opening 15 minutes but they have yet to really test Lukas Hradecky in the Frankfurt goal so far.
13'
It is an excellent whipped delivery into the box but Thilo Kehrer can only head the ball into the ground and over the crossbar from the centre of the box. The linesman had flagged for offside though so it wouldn't have counted anyway.
12'
Schalke free kick in the attacking third as Russ brings down Schopf on the right wing.
7'
Frankfurt force the first save of the game as a lofted pass is headed down brilliantly by Kevin-Prince Boateng for Jovic. The Eagles forward has space to shoot but he can only fire it at Ralf Fahrmann.
5'
Schalke continue to probe the Frankfurt defence but they have yet to really put together a meaningful attack. Another move down the left wing comes to a tame end as a loose pass out of play hands possession to Frankfurt.
2'
Schalke fans are making plenty of noise as Schalke control possession early on and patiently work the ball around the pitch. Alessandro Schopf raises the volume a little as he shows neat footwork to evade two challenges and drive the Schalke attack forward.
1'
Frankfurt get the game underway, playing all in red. Schalke in their blue and white home strip.
The Royal Blues have progressed in four of their last five semi-final appearances, last losing out to Bayern Munich in 2009/10. They are the only semi-finalist to have won all their games in the DFB Cup in normal time but face a tough test against Frankfurt, who were runners-up last year.
Good evening and welcome to our live coverage of today’s DFB Cup semi-final game between Schalke and Eintracht Frankfurt at the Veltins-Arena, with a place in the final against Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich up for grabs.
Frankfurt’s form coming into this game has been patchy at best, winning only three of their last eight games and none of their last three. The announcement of manager Niko Kovac moving to Bayern Munich in the summer was followed by a heavy 4-1 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen, which dented their hopes of a top four league finish.
Schalke come into the game after a morale boosting victory against local rivals Borussia Dortmund opened up a four point cushion ahead of third place in the Bundesliga. Domenico Tedesco’s side have won seven of their last eight games, with the 3-2 defeat to Hamburg being the only blip in what is otherwise a terrific run of form.
The Eagles have won their last six away games in the DFB Cup and a seventh today would be a new club record. They will have to overcome opponents they have faced nine times in the competition, more than any other, but the good news for Frankfurt fans is that Niko Kovac’s only defeat in the DFB Cup was the defeat to Borussia Dortmund in last season's final.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this evening…
Schalke make only one change to the side that beat Dortmund 2-0 at the weekend, with Yevhen Konoplyanka dropping to the bench in favour of Marko Pjaca.
Frankfurt make three changes to the side that were beaten 4-1 by Leverkusen at the weekend. Simon Falette is replaced in defence by Marco Russ, while Omar Mascarell takes his place alongside Jonathan de Guzman in midfield, with Gelson Fernandes dropping to the bench. Danny da Costa drops to the bench with Marius Wolf taking his place on the right of midfield and Luka Jovic leading the attack.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: SCHALKE 0-0 EINTRACHT FRANKFURT.
It is all square at the break with little to divide the two sides. Schalke had the better chances as Caligiuri had a shot deflected narrowly wide before Kehrer had a header saved from the following corner. Frankfurt have enjoyed their fair share of possession but have done nothing to test Fahrmann, except for a comfortable save at the start of the half. The first half ended in heated discussion between players and the referee as the Frankfurt players demanded a free kick for Ralf Fahrmann handling outside the area after he walked out with the ball while complaining about being caught by a Frankfurt player following a cross. All square at the break though and it remains anyone's game.
FULL-TIME: SCHALKE 0-1 EINTRACHT FRANKFURT.
Frankfurt are going to their second successive DFB-Pokal final after Luka Jovic's neat flick from de Guzman's corner was enough to secure the 10-man Eagles a controversial win. Frankfurt were forced to put their backs to the wall as Gelson Fernandes was red carded two minutes after coming on as a substitute. The away defence held firm throughout before Schalke finally looked like they had their equaliser, only for Franco Di Santo's goal to be ruled out for a handball. Schalke continued to throw everything they had at the Eagles but it just wasn't their night and Frankfurt now have the chance to make up for their loss in last season's final when they face off against Bayern Munich in May.
