61'
Dybala was fouled on the edge of the 18-yard box and this is perfect position for the left-footed Argentinian.

33'
Adjapong's jinking run on the left took out Politano's marker. The Italian midfielder was given the ball and a sweet finessed strike was placed well, but Buffon was equal to it. Sassuolo are doing well in this first half fashioning chances and working space well for shots.
32'
A great Dybala ball on the halfway line for Cuadrado put Juventus in an attacking position very quickly. A bit of dancing in the box from Cuadrado freed up space to lay the ball off for an onrushing Gonzalo Higuain who blasts it high and wide. Another poor effort by the Argentinian.

Juventus get us underway in their yellow away kit, and will be attacking from right to left in the first half.
Good morning and welcome to our live text commentary of the Italian Serie A. Today’s clash features teams from opposite ends of the league table as second place Juventus travel to the Mapei Stadium to play 17th place Sassuolo.
For the visitors, a lack of firepower is not a primary concern. Juventus have yet to drop a point in the new year and are averaging over three goals per game as they sit three points back of Inter having played a game less.
While the Old Lady have been in scintillating league form, the defending title-holders could not channel their positive start into a victory in the Champions' League. After a 3-0 defeat midweek against Barcelona, Juventus have the perfect opportunity to get back into winning form.
Sassuolo have had a turbulent time of late, with new coach Cristian Bucchi unable to record a win in his first three games – drawing one and losing two. Consecutive away defeats to Atalanta and Torino have been marred by an inability to produce magic in the attacking third. Sassuolo have only managed one goal this season and have conceded five times as many.
With the exception of a couple of decent half-chances, Juventus have thoroughly dominated proceedings at the Mapei and are fully deserving of their lead.
Argentinian Paulo Dybala's 50th career Juventus goal in his 100th appearance is the difference so far though the Bianconeri have had enough chances to extend the lead.
The home side started shaky and were unable to gain possession in the early minutes. Since conceding however, they have looked increasingly confident in both their attacking play and their high pressing. They will need a spark in the second half and perhaps a substitution or two could turn the tides.
Juventus ultimately looked comfortable and were fully deserving of the victory. A confident and controlled midfield that was able to beat Sassuolo's press was the basis the Bianconeri needed to score three fantastic goals. They will head into their next match against Fiorentina with confidence.
As for the home side, another defeat leaves them with a single point after four games. A Benevento win today against Napoli would drop Sassuolo into the relegation zone. Not a great start for a club that was playing in the Europa League only one season ago.
Thank you for being a part of our live text commentary of Sassuolo v Juventus. Goodbye.
The three points go to Juventus but the day belongs to Paulo Dybala. In his 100th appearance for Juventus his hat-trick was the deciding factor. Goals number 50, 51 and 52 for the Turin based side also puts him firmly atop the scoring charts in the Serie A.
