Die Schwarzgelben had won their previous three contests to start the term, and they will be keen to bounce back to their peak form this evening.
Dortmund have enjoyed a strong start to the campaign, although they were frustrated last time out in their goalless draw against Freiburg. Their opponents were reduced to 10 men for the majority of the contest, but Peter Bosz's men were unable to secure the win.
They struggled in the Champions League last season, especially at Wembley where they lost to Monaco and Bayer Leverkusen. Mauricio Pochettino's men will be determined to start on the front foot this time around.
Tottenham have had a solid start to the season, notching two wins over Newcastle and Everton. However, their perceived issues at their temporary home Wembley have persisted this term. Spurs lost their opener against Chelsea, while they could only draw against Burnley.

FULL-TIME: TOTTENHAM 3-1 BORUSSIA DORTMUND
Tottenham are off the mark in the Champions League with a 3-1 victory this evening over Borussia Dortmund. Harry Kane scored a brace, while Son Heung-min also got on the scoresheet. The German club will feel unfortunate to be leaving without a point as they saw a strike from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang disallowed for offside. The referee then sent off Jan Vertonghen at the death for a second bookable offence. The dismissal will have annoyed Mauricio Pochettino, but his side have the three points and more importantly have won at Wembley for the first time this season.
