Gera slides in late on Mario and goes into the book. He has been threatening to do that since the early stages of the game.

55'
Korhut makes an important clearance at the back post to prevent Quaresma's low cross from finding Silva. Hungary cannot afford to concede a third otherwise the game is over.
52'

35'
Lang attempts to organise his side at the back and plays a blind pass to Gulasci without seeing Silva. The striker is not quite paying attention so is unable to seize on the ball, allowing the keeper to clear the danger. That could have been dangerous.

All of Hungary's hard work was undone in flash there. One mistake from Vinicius opened the visitors up at the back and Portugal were clinical in the final third.

Guerreiro puts a delightful ball across the face of goal that is converted by Silva.

Ronaldo created the opening by spinning off Vinicius in the midfield before sending the ball out wide of Guerreiro. The left-back sent a perfect ball across the face of goal for the Porto forward to slot home at the back post.
31'
Storck will not be too displeased from what he has seen from his side thus far. They're frustrating the home side from playing their natural game, which is beginning to cause issues.

24'
It's a fairly even battle in the middle of the park thus far. Hungary are not looking a threat in the final third, but are forcing the home side into the flanks rather than through the middle of the pitch.

It has been a combative start to the match as Gera sticks his foot in on Ronaldo, but the referee waves play on before Carvalho loses possession.
4'
Gera and Carvalho meet again in the middle of the park, with the former West Brom man sliding to win the ball. For some reason the Portugal midfielder remains on the deck and makes no attempt to regain possession. It was a fair challenge so his claims for a free-kick were not granted by the referee.
3'
Gera takes an early bit of contact from Carvalho in the middle of the park. Expect that to be an intense contest this evening.

Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the World Cup qualifying clash between Portugal and Hungary at the Estadio da Luz.
These two sides met in Euro 2016 last year in a thrilling 3-3 contest. Hungary appeared to be on their way to victory thanks to goals from Zoltan Gera and a brace from Balazs Dzsudzsak, only for Cristiano Ronaldo to rescue his side with a second-half salvo.
The team news has been announced and we'll start with the home side.
Portugal have made three changes from the last time they were in action back in November. Cedric Soares, Pepe and Ricardo Quaresma are all recalled this evening, with Ronaldo expected to lead the line alongside Andre Silva.
Bernd Storck has rung the changes from his side's friendly defeat to Sweden, bringing all of his main men back into the side. Storck is expected to play a 4-5-1 system against the European champions, with Adam Szalai starting up front on his own this evening.
STAT ATTACK! Portugal are unbeaten in their 11 matches against Hungary, winning seven of the contests.
The players are out on the pitch for the anthems, so we should be underway shortly.
HALF-TIME: PORTUGAL 2-0 HUNGARY
Portugal are in control of this World Cup qualifying clash at the break thanks to goals from Andre Silva and Cristiano Ronaldo. Hungary had thwarted the attempts of Fernando Santos' men in the opening 30 minutes, but a clinical team move allowed Silva to strike before Ronaldo blasted an effort past Peter Gulacsi.
Santos will be delighted with his side's patience and clinical edge in the first half, while Bernd Storck will be slightly annoyed with his team as they were cut open too easily for both goals. Hungary need to score first in the second half, which could prompt changes at the break.
The players are back out for the second half, so we should be underway again shortly.
FULL-TIME: PORTUGAL 3-0 HUNGARY
Portugal keep the pressure on Switzerland at the top of Group B with a comfortable win this evening. A brace from Cristiano Ronaldo and a strike from Andre Silva has been enough to guide Fernando Santos' men to the three points, making it four wins on the bounce in qualifying.
Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
Hungary were disappointing this evening and now have a huge challenge on their hands in their remaining fixtures to battle for one of the top two places in the group.
