USA looking more professional now as they see this out, passing the ball around confidently in the attacking half. Time is running out on Martinique, who really don't deserve to leave this match with nothing to show for it. The two goals for could help them in a third-place tiebreaker, though.
90'
There will be three minutes added on at the end of this match.
88'
Martinique continue to apply the pressure as USA struggle to see this one out with any sense of security. They're very much under the gun here. Win, lose or draw, Martinique can take pride in how well they have played here tonight, but that will be little consolation if they walk away empty handed.
86'
D. McCarty enters the game and replaces J. Agudelo.
The final change from Bruce Arena sees Dax McCarty enter the fray for a bit of added stability in defence, at the expense of Agudelo.
85'
STAT: USA are unbeaten in their last nine matches across all competitions since Bruce Arena took over as coach (W4 D5).
83'
Frantic, frenetic, incomprehensible, call it what you want, this has been a second half for the ages. Five goals combined between the two, an impressive comeback from the underdogs and an instant response from the favourites, and we still have close to 10 minutes to go with stoppage time in a one-goal game.
81'
J. Morrow gets yellow.
Toronto FC's Justin Morrow becomes the first American player booked on the night.
80'
INCHES WIDE! Guzan rooted to his spot as a header from Cretinoir flashes inches wide of the far post on the end of a free-kick! Martinique just won't go away! We're in for a grandstand finish in Tampa!
78'
J. Marajo enters the game and replaces D. Hérelle.
A third and final change from Martinique as Johnny Marajo replaces Herelle.
Minute
Description
76'
J. Morris has scored a goal for United States! Assist by G. Zardes.
K. Parsemain has scored a goal for Martinique! Assist by J. Audel.
Audel provides the assist.
FROM 2-0 DOWN, MARTINIQUE ARE LEVEL! What a comeback, what a story! It's a sloppy goal, capitalising on some dreadful US defending - Hedges the culprit. It was Parsemain who scored it in the end, and he did so with a looping effort from on his back! They don't care how it went in though, all that matters is they're level!
Wonderful ball in from Zardes, who is credited with the assist.
USA RESTORE THEIR LEAD! It's an immediate and absolutelty crucial response from the hosts, and it's Morris who scores it, his second of the night, punished into the ceiling of the goal on the end of a cross in from the left from Zardes!
73'
C. Pontius enters the game and replaces P. Arriola.
The second US change sees Chris Pontius replace Arriola.
72'
Into the final 20 minutes now and it is wonderfully poised at Raymond James Stadium. USA continue to enjoy the bulk of possession, but Martinique are taking more chances on the break, and they're looking threatening as a result.
70'
What a match this has turned into in Tampa! The first half had some tempo to it, but it lacked in chances, and as a result, goals. The second half has seen the tempo pick up drastically, and this end to end action has seen three goals scored in 12 minutes, with more appearing to be on the horizon.
68'
STAT: Martinique have never won a match at a Gold Cup in which they conceded.
66'
K. Parsemain has scored a goal for Martinique! Assist by S. Abaul.
WHAT A HIT! Martinique are right back in the game as Parsemain produces a strike out of the top drawer, firing in an effort at the near post from 20 yards to halve the deficit! Unbeliebable skill!
Abaul picks up the assist, but that was all in the effort from Parsemain.
64'
J. Morris has scored a goal for United States! Assist by E. Lichaj.
S. Langil enters the game and replaces Y. Arquin.
A second change here for Martinique as Legia Warsaw's Steeven Langill replaces Arquin.
Lichaj, who has been threatening all night, picks up a deserved assist.
TWO TO THE GOOD! They're on their way now! Clinical, decisive passing from USA in the final third ends with a clever tap-in at the near post as he slots home Lichaj's low cross. Olimpa had a clear path to the ball, but waited for it to run to him and was dearly punished as a result.
62'
K. Vitulin gets yellow.
A. Bedoya enters the game and replaces K. Acosta.
Bruce Arena goes to his bench for the first time to bring on Alejandro Bedoya, with Acosta the one replaced.
Nasty challenge and no escaping a booking there for Vitulin, who lunges into the back of Agudelo in an attempt to win the ball back after a loose touch saw it run away from him.
60'
Too much passing! Lovely stuff from the hosts on the break, as confidence continues to grow in their side. Arriola and Zardes link up impressively as Martinique are caught out, but one too many passes sees the attack come to nothing in the end.
58'
STAT: USA has a record of 30-1-4 all-time in the Gold Cup group stage.
56'
J. Nedra enters the game and replaces N. Zaïre.
The first change of the night is made by Martinique and it's a replicate, just in reverse, of the one change made to their team from the first match as Nedra is brought on to replace Zaire.
54'
O. González has scored a goal for United States!
THERE'S THE BREAKTHROUGH! USA have the lead in Florida! It's Gonzalez who slots in the rebound from a corner for just his second international goal after a deflected effort from long-range was kept out smartly by Olimpa.
52'
END TO END ACTION! Keepers shining early in this second half! It's Guzan who comes to the rescue first, smartly keeping out a close-range header, before Olimpa is forced into a pair of saves to deny Arriola less than a minute apart!
50'
Still a half of football to play, but with each passing minute confidence will be growing in the Martinique side. They are very much in the game, knowing as little as a point will likely be enough to take them to the second round.
48'
OFF THE BAR! Agudelo's shot from range deflects high into the air, landing dangerously in the penalty area where Arriola sprints to meet it, but the winger's first-time effort crashes off the bar before being cleared!
45' +1
HALF-TIME: USA 0-0 MARTINIQUE.
45'
There will be one minute added on at the end of this first half.
43'
Pressure coming at the other end now in the dying embers of the first half, with Martinique searching for the goal that would leave this crowd shell-shocked. Abaul rises over everyone to meet a corner and sends a glancing header towards the far post, but it drifts just wide!
41'
The tempo is slowing a bit as we approach the interval. USA are pressing, but there are plenty of white shirts back in defence. The crowd is growing increasingly restless as they await the opener, but it's looking like, for now at least, they will be made to wait.
39'
STAT: Martinique have never won more than one match at a CONCACAF Gold Cup. They beat Nicaragua in their Group B opener.
37'
INCHES AWAY! Arriola shows great determination to sprint inside and try to get on the end of a cross in from the left, and he nearly does so, putting immense pressure on Delem who abruptly sends the ball dangerously behind at the near post. The ensuing corner, the seventh of the match for the hosts, is dealt with by Martinique.
35'
Nervy moments! Olimpa sprints off his line to try and claim a cross in from Zardes, but makes a mess of it. Lucky for him, Martinique have the bodies on hand to deal with the ensuing threat. Back the other way come the French nation, but Lichaj produces a final tackle to stop the break.
33'
OFF THE POST! For all the chances USA have had, it's Martinique who nearly steal the lead! Parsemain takes a pass at the far post and drives an effort at goal, but Hedges does just enough to get a touch on it, sending it off the woodwork!
31'
THERE'S THE FIRST! Finally the hosts see their pressure pay off with a shot! Morrow's cross is cleared, only partially, as it comes to Zardes. The attacker hits it first time from 20 yards, but Olimpa is able to beat it away!
29'
Martinique need to improve their play on the ball. Their looks have been limited, making it that much more vital that they produce something when the opportunity presents itself. So far it's been much too easy for the USA in defence.
27'
BLOCKED YET AGAIN! Martinique's last line of defence is doing everything to shield Olimpa! How long can they keep this up? Agudelo produces a stunning first touch to open up space for a shot from 12 yards, but Zaire fearlessly flings himself in the path of it to send the effort behind!
25'
Morris is proving a more than adequate target up top, but it's what he's doing when he gets the ball that needs improving. He's had plenty of tast deliveries to feast on, but has yet to find a way to test the keeper, while his hold-up play has left something to be desired.
23'
USA continue to apply relentless pressure, attacking the flanks especially with great success. They're finding all sorts of space out wide, sending some dangerous balls into the area, but they have yet to force Olimpa to make a save.
21'
STAT: USA are winless in their last three Gold Cup matches for the first time since the inauguration of the tournament in 1991.
19'
KNOCKED BEHIND! Another crucial clearance from Delem to slide in and send Zardes' low cross behind, with Agudelo wide open in the centre! Had the defender not got a touch there, it would be 1-0 USA.
17'
Martinique have a worry here as Herelle goes down awkwardly in midfield after catching the cleat of Agudelo. It certainly is a painful one, but it shouldn't be anything that will force him off. He's currently receiving some treatment and is back on his feet.
15'
IMPORTANT INTERVENTION! Lovely interplay in and around the penalty area from the Yanks, which ends at the feet of Acosta on the left. The midfielder drives in a low delivery towards Morris at the near post, but Delem slides in amidst a crowd and manages to clear the danger!
13'
A bit of defensive work is demanded of Lichaj now as Martinique show some nice punch, getting up the pitch with determination and pace as they aim to swing momentum back in their favour. Jean-Baptiste does well out wide, but a fine challenge from Lichaj limits him to a throw-in.
11'
Lichaj picks out a good ball forward to spring Augudelo, who picks out Arriola, and the winger wins a free-kick on the edge of the area after a foul from Audel. Acosta lines up the set-piece and opts to flash in a cross, which is sent inches wide of the near post by Morris!
9'
Zardes has been head over heels the brightest attacker for the hosts in these early stages. He's been wonderfully direct in possession, keen and able to beat a defender, while distributing the ball impressively in the final third.
7'
STAT: USA have scored in 19 successive Gold Cup matches, dating back to a 5-0 defeat to Mexico in 2009.
5'
Martinique reply with some decent time on the ball of their own, but it's all very pedestrian from them, merely feeling things out on the ball as they aim to get into their shape.
3'
Plenty of possession for USA in these opening minutes, highlighted by a pair of dangerous Zardes crosses. The first flashes by the face of goal and whips just wide of the far post, while the second comes to Morris, but he can only knock it narrowly behind for a goal-kick.
1'
AND THEY'RE OFF! Martinique get us underway, wearing all white as they attack from right to left, with USA in their new red and blue striped kits.
Here they go again!
Hello and welcome to live coverage from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida as USA aim to secure their first win of the group stage when they host Martinique.
USA were held to a 1-1 draw in their Group B opener by Panama, as optimism turned to worry as Bruce Arena’s B team did not show much to provide reason to believe they can win their first Gold Cup title since 2013.
The next two group matches for the Yanks should give them the opportunity to right the ship as they aim to generate a bit of momentum ahead of what promises to be a very difficult knockout stage – and six points figure to be a must if they are to claim top spot in Group B.
Martinique are participating in their fifth Gold Cup and opened their campaign with an important 2-0 victory over Nicaragua. It gets a whole lot trickier from here on out, but even a point from their last two matches would likely be enough to get them through as one of the best third-place teams.
The French region, located in the Caribbean but part of the European Union, have never managed more than three points in the group stage at the Gold Cup. With two games still to play, and the pressure off, this marks a prime opportunity for them to improve on their best ever finish in the competition.
Bruce Arena makes a whopping eight changes to his side after an underwhelming display in a 1-1 draw with Panama in their opener - Brad Guzan, Omar Gonzalez and Paul Acosta the three holdovers. Eric Lichaj, Matt Hedges and Justin Morrow come into defence, with Graham Zusi, Matt Besler and Jorge Villafana dropping to the bench.
Seattle Sounders midfielder Cristian Roldan earns his first international cap in midfield at the expense of Dax McCarty, while Paul Arriola, Gyasi Zardes and Juan Agudelo are all brought in to flank new striker Jordan Morris, who leads the line ahead of in-form Dom Dwyer.
Cautious not to tamper with a winning formula, Martinique boss Louis Marianne makes just one change from their 2-0 win over Nicaragua. Nicolas Zaire comes in to provide some experience and defensive stability in midfield, in place of Jean-Emmanuel Nedra.
Dominance from Bruce Arena's side in the first half as they attacked with great regularity, but work was limited for Kevin Olimpa as USA struggled to make the most of their opportunities. In fact, it was Martinique who came closest to breaking the deadlock, Kevin Parsemain's deflected effort rattling off the woodwork just past the half-hour mark.
That's all for our live coverage, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
USA come out on the better side of a five-goal second-half thriller in Tampa to move to the top of Group B. Omar Gonzalez opened the scoring shortly after the interval, before Jordan Morris doubled their lead soon after. An impressive Frank Parsemain double, not lacking in excitement, pulled Martinique level, but Morris' second of the game put the game to bed seconds later.
