Chance for El Salvador! Ceren simply robs the ball from Torres Nilo on the left flank, and his cross almost finds Bonilla. More shakiness from the left back.

Hello and welcome to Goal's LIVE coverage of Mexico's visit to Honduras. I'm Seth Vertelney and I'll be taking you through tonight's match.
Tonight's game doesn't mean much in the standings for El Tri, who are already through to the Hexagonal after winning their first four games of qualifying. But a win on the road would be a big boost to the team's confidence after losing 7-0 to Chile in the Copa America quarterfinal in its last competitive match.
El Salvador is in last place in the group with just two points, and it needs a win tonight or else it will be eliminated from contention for the Hex.
Here's tonight's starting XI for Mexico: Ochoa, Layun, Ayala, Moreno, Torres Nilo, Marquez, Guardado, Herrera, Sepulveda, Jimenez, Aquino.
Big chance for Queretaro's Angel Sepulveda, who is getting his first cap tonight. Javier Hernandez did not make the Mexico squad due to a hand injury.
And here's El Salvador's XI: Carrillo, Tamacas, García, Domínguez, Larin, Menjivar, Mayen, Punyed, Alas, Ceren, Bonilla.
Teams are on the field and anthems have begun. We're almost ready to go!
That's the half, and El Salvador has a surprising 1-0 advantage in a game it needs to stay alive. Poor first half for El Tri, who were disjointed in attack and sloppy with the ball. The unfancied home side has been playing even up with the region's defending champion.
That's it! Mexico makes it five wins from five in the semifinal round of World Cup qualifying and knocks El Salvador out in the process. Good response for El Tri in the second half, scoring three times after entering halftime down 1-0.
